It is one of those spiritual earthquakes rolling on through – but the quake is still. 3 Reply Mica9 months agoMicaYesterday I was amazingly fired up, improving a webpage. Today I’m aiming to get fired up, quilting. Is it ‘fire’ when I’m extremely annoyed at someone? Hopefully not. Maybe air pollution. 4 Reply Maeve9 months agoMaeveToday what is kindling fire within me is admiration for Simone Biles for knowing her limits and having the courage to step out of the incredible pressure is under in the Tokyo Olympics, and decide not to compete this week. Great going! And my anger at the arrogance and ignorance of the radio talk show host Charlie Kirk for belittling her. 12 Reply Michele9 months agoMicheleI agree with you and even lit a candle for her yesterday. 1 Reply Elaine9 months agoElaineTaking up a new activity- in the winter it was rug hooking, this summer it’s golf. Learning more about stuff that matters to me – the preservation of old growth forests here in BC, Indigenous experiences in this land, aging well. Tending circles of connection. 7 Reply Linda9 months agoLindaI love your interest in doing new things, Elaine! Something I need to do now that I am retired. 5 Reply Elaine9 months agoElaineIt’s one of the most life giving possibilities of “retired” life. Somebody called it Re-Fired! 🙂 Thanks for the comment Linda. 4 Reply SK9 months agoSKSomething new- a book, an idea, anew exercise routine, a place, music that touches deeply into my soul, a smile from a stranger. 6 Reply BasicMarsh9 months agoBasicMarshI discovered two fires within me – one is ignited when I hear certain music that fills me with absolute warmth, joy, energy and life. The other is a fiery anger at self-centered people with a sense of self-entitlement that is at the expense of the common good. 5 Reply Carol9 months agoCarolKindness…I see so much cruelty that it makes my heart ache. Witnessing kindness inspires me to keep showing up and doing my best. 9 Reply Nelson9 months agoNelsonTaking time out for self-care. Oftentimes I get caught up with work that I forget to do things to reward myself, like pampering or going out to hang out with friends. 5 Reply Katrina9 months agoKatrinaInspiration – not from within me, but somehow when I’m inspired. I can’t conjure it up. It is not from a particular activity. And like Howie, sometimes it comes from having to make myself get started when I don’t really want to or feel like it…and then “poof” I’m suddenly immersed in whatever it is feeling energized, productive, creative, like I can’t stop, and joyful. I wish I could bottle that. 4 Reply Amber Wright9 months agoAmber WrightThe cultivated joy and bond I share with my 4 children (Ages 14, 11, 3, & 7 months). The fresh early newness of the morning. A blank sheet of paper (I’m an artist). The constant excitement that the youth I work with show when they first see me for the day. This Gratefulness app has been working a special number on me also with being ignited. 6 Reply DeVonna9 months agoDeVonnaRituals. It’s my love of my rituals that gets me out of bed in the morning. My routine, my faith, my devotion to my craft, these are the things that add meaning and purpose to my life and make life worthwhile. 8 Reply Mary Pat9 months agoMary PatSometimes anger at injustice. And it sure beats coffee or tea or any other artificial stimulant! ( which does nothing but interfere with the wise work of the Archangels ! ) Example Relax completely. Start from the toes of your feet. Even our human form and our human body is good from the material point of view, because, the work of the Holy Archangels of the Elements is perfect. Now, feel being in your material body which is completely relaxed. The head, the chest, the belly, the feet. They are yours. The Holy Archangels, who work and continue working, gave them to you. But, who are you now? They love you as you are – as a human being with all your weaknesses. They work for you to live in this material body of yours. Cooperate with them to keep this material body of yours in good health. You can do that. Now, breathe deeply and comfortably……. and feel you are in this material body. Breathe-in …. ten beats and breathe-out in another ten beats. Feel you are in the material body. In the whole material body. DO THIS FOR SEVEN MINUTES ( no more then that ) and then Put this question to your self now, “Who am I?” Forget your name. Repeat the question, “Who am I? What am I now?
