How am I inspired to serve?

I am not noble, my life isn’t special, I’m not an elite spiritual being, nor am I nothing; for the study of Mu is lifelong and i dare not con myself with the thought that I’ve achieved being nothing. I love this memory from my family life, me and my wife were talking in the livingroom and we noticed that we didn’t hear my daughter in the other room, so, we went into the kitchen and my daughter Danielle had taken out several pots from the lower kitchen cabinets in preparation for making dinner with a big smile on her face only equaled by ours; it is life- there is nothing other. What inspires me more than the wonder and awe I see, feel, communicate, evoke? The studies of the Gods, Prophets, Great Saints, etc.; and sometimes Saints and everyday Saints as well. Lao Tzu is often quoted for saying, “a journey of a 1000 miles begins with one step”; which is a fallacious translation- he was not communicating an arithmatic problem solved, there’s only 999999999999.9 more steps to go. A more accurate translation would be, “a journey of a 1000 miles is in the first step”. The first step of a child, that is raised with love and security, not numbed and dumbed down by rote and regurgitation of info. in public schools, etc.. Maybe a better question would be, ‘Serve to inspired, i am how?’ May this New Year find you new everyday all the way through 🙂 reality
