I choose books that I believe help to guide me on this path and then reflect upon what I’ve learned. 4 Reply Maeve3 months agoMaeveBy being curious! Watching and being mindful of my reactions in the moment to others, especially when I am irritated or things don’t go as I want them to. Remembering to be kind as well as speaking the truth. Remembering that everyone is coming from their own perspectives and challenges. 9 Reply Holly in Ohio3 months agoHolly in OhioAssumptions make for a closed mind, and sometimes even "knowledge' gets in the way. I can ask more questions of my higher self. I can listen more deeply to others, particularly those different from myself. I can filter everything through love. Physicists celebrated his ‘miracle year’s’ 100th anniversary in 2005. 2 Reply Carol3 months agoCarolThanks, Holly. 3 Reply sunnypatti3 months agosunnypattiRemain open. Open to new ideas. Open to other perspectives. Open to what my own intuition tells me. Also, continue my daily practices. I say a prayer when I wake up, get out of bed and meditate, write in my journal for a bit, and then I arrive here to practice and share gratitude. I like this path 🙂 8 Reply Laura3 months agoLauraLiving each day with, if not an empty cup, at least one that has room for new experiences that can teach me. 6 Reply Vanessa M.3 months agoVanessa M.I have learned I need a spiritual routine in order to avoid complacency. I have to show up each day and make space for learning. Knowing myself is the first step to greater understanding. 7 Reply Maurice Frank3 months agoMaurice FrankI must remain open to new knowledge and experiences, and continue to question beliefs I currently hold. 5 Reply Antoinette3 months agoAntoinetteAgain, by letting go of “MY” ideas, perceptions, opinions etc .. Some days I amaze myself with my own understanding, and other days I feel as dumb as rocks. (Apologies to rocks!) Most days my path is smooth, easy walking, well-worn, until it’s not. Then, seemingly without warning, I round the bend, and my path becomes a potholed slippery mess, that strangely also brings new learning, better understanding, and a smarter way moving forward, so long as I remember ...Well, I have learned that the life-path I am on, for starters, doesn’t flow in a straight line.
