I have been looking for a new cat rescue group to volunteer with and I have my orientation with them tomorrow. Happy to soon be volunteering again with cats! 😻 8 Reply Michele1 month agoMicheleloved this – I looked up cat cafe’s and found one in my area that recently opened up – can’t wait to visit it:) 1 Reply Hot Sauce1 month agoHot SauceToday, I can be of service by taking the dog out and feeding him. I usually avoid this because he’s more aggressive with me than with my mom, but I will have her supervise me and correct me if I do anything wrong. I really want to learn to care for him. 8 Reply Don Jones1 month agoDon JonesIn a world fascinated with gross shock and awe acts, my focus will remain on the subtle and the quiet. I will smile and say cheerfully “Good morning/afternoon” and “Have a nice day” to every single person I’ll encounter during my walk with Penny. I will make a couple of phone calls to those who have been housebound since the pandemic started. 9 Reply Patricia1 month agoPatriciaThis is a question I ask myself every morning as I set my intentions for the day. Then I am open to the opportunities that present themselves. 10 Reply Rosemary1 month agoRosemaryI already shared today’s quote on Facebook. We need to generously sow the seeds of love and kindness in the coming days… 9 Reply Cathie1 month agoCathieBy offering myself to and fertilizing the pot in which I am planted, I work to love my husband, to be the other half of the "us" - take care of my 90 year old mother who lives independently, but needs more assistance since covid hit. She does not go out much anymore, and friends rarely call anymore; she relies on us to be her support. In doing grocery shopping, cleaning and emotional support, I will be there today for a time- and making time to connect with friends and neighbors who are willing to meet outside if weather permits. The question that nudges me and keeps me looking beyond my “pot…” is it enough? Am I called to do more with my gifts? By not getting caught up in the turmoil going around in the world and staying focused on the good and feel the gratitude that is inside us. By taking a time out, going to our own little space to meditate/ contemplate we recharge our feelings so that we are better prepared to face the people around us and give our gifts of love and unde standing 8 Reply Ed Schulte1 month agoEd SchulteBy suggest ONLY , not dictating ... .Know Thy Self.
