Ose1 year agoOseAll my energetic system calms down and bends towards peace when devotion and humbleness arise, during meditation, prostration or in daily life. It is a kind of arriving, and work in progress. Deeply grateful. Thank you all. 1 Reply nadders1 year agonaddersI have always been grateful for how easily pleased I am. I am able to find moments of contentment easily. I have found that the lockdown and therefore curtialment Of activities I usually find contentment in has lowered the bar. I continue to find contentment in simple things. I enjoy clean sheet with clean PJ combo. A cold beer on a warm day, a wild swim, a walk on the beach. A cup of tea and biscuit in the garden with a friend. Long walks and the weary muscle feeling you get afterwards. 2 Reply Just be1 year agoJust beI feel content when: I’ve eaten a satisfying meal I’m cuddling and playing with my dogs My house is clean I bring in flowers from the yard and arrange them. I sneakily give flower arrangements away It’s a warm day and I’m sitting in the garden swing enjoying my yard. I remember my dad. I’m hiking I’m reading something interesting or entertaining. 5 Reply Tori1 year agoToriI feel my most content when I’m outside on a walk, listening to music or a good drive around the city. 5 Reply Rhea1 year agoRheaI feel my most content when I am doing what I love. Whether it’s being active or being creative, I feel most content when I am in flow state, unaware of the time passing by. Of course, I feel productive at the end, but the calmness that settles over me is what counts. 6 Reply Kristi1 year agoKristiI usually feel content when I’m with my family or outside in nature. Two gifts that I absolutely treasure! 5 Reply Drew Blanton1 year agoDrew BlantonWhen I’m reading, on the computer, or watching TV. Besides, I can see at least a little bit of spirituality in each of these activities. 6 Reply Dusty Su1 year agoDusty SuWhen I have conducted a loving laughter session well. When attendees share the space and we are full, emptied, full again, and there is love and connection, joy, and hope. 5 Reply Just be1 year agoJust beHi Dusty, what is a loving laughter session? 3 Reply Dusty Su1 year agoDusty SuHi there Just be... One Sunday we did an exercise where we all laughed, at first for no reason, but then everything became funny and we laughed for about 15 minutes. 3 Reply Dusty Su1 year agoDusty SuAh, how great that is…a lovely idea for a spiritual gathering. I teach many things through laughter, death, dying, living fully, connection, etc. Just wonderful. 3 Reply sb1 year agosbI agree that being content is being secure and loved but also being at peace with myself and the world, being calm and comfortable with life. Some examples include a nice warm bubble bath, basking in front of the fire, relaxing with my family, enjoying nature, lovely music, listening to the sea….. 7 Reply KC1 year agoKCBasking in the warm sun, in front of a fire, in a forest of trees, on a meadow, on, in or beside water… reading a good book, in the company of caring others and ideally sharing food and / or beverages together, listening to and playing music … and yes, when I feel safe, secure and loved! 7 Reply Hot Sauce1 year agoHot SauceI feel content whenever I receive new insights about the nature of reality, the purpose of human existence, or what God is doing in the world. 6 Reply Just be1 year agoJust beLove this. I like “deep” stuff and epiphanies, too. 2 Reply Cathie1 year agoCathieI feel contented most of the time. It is easier to identify when I do not feel content: during turmoil, when someone is upset at me, when I do not understand what is occurring, when injustice is brought to my attention… 6 Reply Carol1 year agoCarolI’m pondering the word “content.” In reading most of the responses, it seems folks are content when they feel secure and loved. Me, too. 8 Reply Susan Skye1 year agoSusan SkyeI feel content when I stop and pay attention to what is around me. I am often distracted by so many things and I actually have to stop and pay attention to this moment. Contentment is a choice from my point of view. Life is what life is and we can either accept it or not. Peace comes to me when I slow down and accept what is. 7 Reply Melissa1 year agoMelissaAfter I have a great conversation with a friend or my mate. Drinking morning coffee with my dog sleeping next to me at my feet. A beautiful sunshine morning and the outdoors calls me for a walk. Seeing a hawk fly over hearing the laughter of children playing. 7 Reply Lauryn1 year agoLaurynMoments like right now— early morning sunshine, sitting outside, drinking coffee, listening to the birds, the whole day ahead of me. 6 Reply Holly in Ohio1 year agoHolly in OhioI'm very content when I... > Get things ship shape and in Bristol fashion. > Get tasks ticked off my check list and still have time to play > Nurture seeds or plants into abundant growth > When I share something funny and make someone laugh. > Walking in nature > Listening to music > Am learning or reading > When my kids, just grown now, are making sound choices and are happy. > When I make a good meal for others and we sit down to share the meal and have conv...I’m very content when I… > Get things ship shape and in Bristol fashion. > Get tasks ticked off my check list and still have time to play > Nurture seeds or plants into abundant growth > When I share something funny and make someone laugh. > Walking in nature > Listening to music > Am learning or reading > When my kids, just grown now, are making sound choices and are happy. > When I make a good meal for others and we sit down to share the meal and have conversation > When I use my creativity, sit back and think, “dang!” > When my husband and I share “moments.” and I confess sometimes I just watch him sleep and just that is “enough.” 🙂 Read More9 Reply SK1 year agoSKWhen I have finished some project- especially lately with the CLS work and the memories it brings to my heart. k.
