Mica7 months agoMicaIt would be wonderful if tomorrow could reflect the concern so many of us are feeling about the injustices to people of color. We have time now to spend more energy on such concerns, and I hope these concerns will bring some needed change! 1 Reply reality7 months agorealityIndeed, they must; thanx ? reality 1 Reply reality7 months agorealityThe 'use' of the word 'reflect' is unique here. What tomorrow will reflect is not of today, for today is of today, not tomorrow; tomorrow will be of tomorrow. Sometimes concision can mislead or be a misguidance. Our experience grows, as our solutioning with reality concentrates, during sleep, so, we are yesterday awakened to us being tomorrow, tomorrow; regardless of out and insight. The wonder of the human psyche is beyond belief, no? Yet, when we experience tomorrow as the present, here and now, tomorrow, it will not be a mere reflection of anything from yesterday, as the complexity of the evolving psyche is way beyond the mirror/mirage metaphor; no? This is one of the reasons why the younger one is, the easier it is to learn, there’s the potential of an ’empty cup’ (Chan. A thirsty cup that would be, no?), as opposed to one overflowing; which thereby, chooses to not study, not allow experiential knowledge of the here and now in 🙂 reality Read More4 Reply Malag7 months agoMalagNot sure I get this question. Tomorrow is just tomorrow and will be different than today. Maybe it’s an “as you sow shall you reap” point which I guess is obvious. 2 Reply slawrence7 months agoslawrenceTomorrow will manifest the seeds plated today, for better or worse. I must choose today to sow that which I hope to reap. 7 Reply Pilgrim7 months agoPilgrimBegin with hope. 6 Reply Hot Sauce7 months agoHot SauceRecently, I just learned, based on most of the near-death experience accounts I’ve read, that everything reflects the totality of Being-not as a part of the whole, but as the whole itself. This means that, in the future, I can truly revere people as icons of God and of Love and to do my best to respect their needs and feelings and to forgive if they fall short of what I hope for. Likewise, I can learn to respect myself, remembering that I, too, am fully divine. 3 Reply Cathie7 months agoCathieOnly That which transcends linear time can know today, and tomorrow will then tell. 3 Reply Cathy Young7 months agoCathy YoungReading J Paul Nadeau’s book “Take Control of Your Life” today I learned (relearned) that only I can frame my experiences and perhaps just as importantly I am not entitled to frame the experiences of others. Empathy, yes, but judgement, no. 3 Reply amacord7 months agoamacordToday I want to avoid the noise, to not feed the beast of bad news and tragedy. I am sending prayers for all people to stay safe, do no harm. When fear arrives, I will stand back, take a deep breath and turn my mind to God. Peace, peace, peace. 5 Reply Catherine Wherley7 months agoCatherine Wherleyone foot in front of the other and welcome each moment with kindness. 5 Reply Present Moment7 months agoPresent MomentToday I ask for discernment, good intention , so I may walk into tomorrow without expectations. 4 Reply Paula7 months agoPaulaAll the patient I am learning and usin now, all the love I receive and give I will keep it for ever. 3 Reply Maeve7 months agoMaeveHmm. Not sure quite what this question is asking… Step by step, I think. What I do today, who I am being, what I do, puts the groundwork in place for tomorrow. Like building a foundation to keep building on. I like that image of laying a foundation, and building a house. 2 Reply 7 months agohow can I know? so let’s move on, gentle with ourselves, kind to anybody we encounter and obidient to our vision 5 Reply 7 months agojust stumbled across this quote (a word of the day some time ago) , seems to fit in here too : – Each of us is an artist of our days; the greater our integrity and awareness, the more original and creative our time will become. -John O’Donohue 0 Reply Julian Daal Childers7 months agoJulian Daal ChildersBecause my thoughts directly effect my reality. So those things I think and learn today will show up in my life tomorrow. 4 Reply Trish7 months agoTrishTomorrow I will offer more love, exhibit more patience, smile more & foster peace & stillness. I am trying with an open heart and mind to understand and learn suffering from a different perspective so that I may be a better advocate. 4 Reply Howie Geib7 months agoHowie GeibThe German in me wants measurable results! In the upcoming times, May this become a daily practice to see the beauty and positive things going on and to look at the bad things as lessons to accept and to grow now and for the future 3 Reply Kevin7 months agoKevinWell, I am fully invested in today, as I am every day. When I do that the tomorrows take care of themselves. But I know this, metaphorically and literally, today is trash day and if I don’t put the trash out for pickup, tomorrow will stink! 7 Reply slawrence7 months agoslawrencelol Insightful as always, Kevin! 1 Reply 1 2 Next » My Private Gratitude Journal Write an entry in your private gratefulness journal Get Started This site is brought to you by A Network for Grateful Living, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
