Malag1 month agoMalagI don’t make new year resolutions so am not expecting anything different in how gratefulness moves in my life just because I’m in a new year. As always this group is part of my bedrock. 5 Reply Marose1 month agoMaroseAppreciation for the simple things; food, shelter, job, sanity. Look into the goodness in others. Expectations often compromise our relationships and appreciation of what is given should be nurtured. Learn lesson taught and love…love some more. 4 Reply Ose1 month agoOseAs the colorful, touching, heartwarming bridge to you and you and to the heart of all that is.🙏 3 Reply Melissa1 month agoMelissaTo see what is beneficial and carries hope in anyway that we can take it in our heart and mind. A monarch flitting by, smile from a grandchild, food on the table, basic and small things at this time of turmoil and unknowns with the pandemic. 6 Reply Lauryn1 month agoLaurynI think it helps us to see the big picture and what’s really important. I’ve recently been feeling down about not being able to get my work done as fast as my boss wants me to …that combined with a lockdown with no end in sight. For I while I was writing every day about 3 things I was grateful for that happened on that day… then it stopped. I know circumstances have made it more difficult to see these things every day, but I think it would help me to give it another try. 6 Reply Holly in Ohio1 month agoHolly in OhioI am thankful for you. 2 Reply Don Jones1 month agoDon JonesFor it to be an embodied practice – not just regurgitation of information. For actions to be guided by my inner core and Truth, not the superficial mind and popular opinion. To pay attention to the subtle. 7 Reply Linda1 month agoLindaI am grateful to live in a free country and I will give thanks for the many blessings it brings to be a US citizen. Despite the unrest last week, I believe most Americans cherish the freedom to live in this country. Let’s all do our best to maintain it. 5 Reply DeVonna1 month agoDeVonnaI’m dealing with a lot of anxiety right now, but I’m actively trying to redirect my thoughts. I’m reminded by this page to focus on all that is going well in my life and has gone well. I have my battles… 7 Reply Michele1 month agoMicheleSending you some positive energy:) 3 Reply ActiveD51 month agoActiveD5If I reflect on what I am grateful for, I will help others, helping others makes me a better person, makes me more like Jesus. I can even be a President with 50 % popularity”! Obviously the question requires the clarifier ….’WHO within one’s own BE-ing-ness is it that is gratified”? . It is not safe to assume everyone wants so-called “good” unless one can self examine and become clear on who that “WHO” is. The most dangerous attitude in western culture is to assume “O’ we all know who the WHO is”. (The shaman QAnon guy did announce in the BBC news “Truth and God are on my side on” and with full gratitude “that beautiful day”. That too is gratitude speaking!) A brief but complete way I myself will continue to advance , year after year after …and chose to be “informed” is by self examination and developing a Crystal clear understand of WHO I am…..and the results will often be difficult to be grateful for until they are fully de-energized ! ”Human beings, men and women, must decide to enter boldly into their sub-consciousness, using the Mind substance for reasonable thinking, and study the elementals living in their personality — both the human- in- nature Angels and the human-in – nature demons — that they have created sub-consciously . They must work self-consciously to annihilate the power of the human – in- nature demons [rendering them inactive], and to strengthen the human- in- nature Angels, creating sub-consciously good and powerful elementals.” DASKALOS Read More4 Reply Mike S1 month agoMike SI visit this site each day in the morning before I get out of bed. The gratefulness orientation helps me set positive intentions, kicks off my prayer life and various other readings that have a salutary effect on mind and heart. 8 Reply Patricia1 month agoPatriciaIt changes my perspective. Looking outward or looking inward, I see things differently when I stand and live in gratitude. 7 Reply ActiveD51 month agoActiveD5I so agree! This will be a 2021 objective, every single day remember what you are grateful! 4 Reply Javier Visionquest1 month agoJavier VisionquestWhat I’m most grateful for in my life – my family, my health, and my home – will continue to be the focus of my “works” in the new sun. 12 Reply Butterfly1 month agoButterflyPratising gratefulness has now become a habit, my default setting. I still get frustrated and angry about things sometimes but always come back to gratefulness, eventually! For me looking forward into the year is too much to bite off at once. I prefer to take one day at a time. I may plan some things in advance but always realising that things change and I need to go with the flow. Whatever happens is what needs to happen. 10 Reply Pilgrim1 month agoPilgrimButterfly, I appreciate your “eventually” in the 2nd sentence. I am with you in not pressuring yourself about looking too far forward, as well. One day at a time, especially during these times, makes sense to me. We can live in hope, but reality is ever-present. Have a good day. 6 Reply Michele1 month agoMicheleGratefulness informs by being able to read others reflections and supporting one another. We are all on here because we are like minded and want to incorporate gratefulness into our life daily. One day at a time. Remembering to be present, reflect before reacting. Wishing everyone a peaceful calm Sunday. 10 Reply Ed Schulte1 month agoEd SchulteGratefully read and ‘Soul-fully’ appreciated! 3 Reply devy1 month agodevyGratefulness keeps this ship of mine on even keel. As I go on this journey on the ocean of life, I will keep myself upright and floating on course no matter what storms or other problems I come upon in 2021+and beyond.. 6 Reply Trish1 month agoTrishTapping into gratefulness colors everything I do & generates positivity and hope. Every interaction I have is touched by gratefulness. When I lose my focus & succumb to worry and anxiety, my friend, Gratefulness nudges me & says, “Hi. Remember me?!” 9 Reply Pollyanna Gladwell1 month agoPollyanna GladwellWell said, Trish. Thank you for encapsulating the benefits of tapping into gratefulness i.e. positivity and hope. Sometimes I need more than a nudge though – a 2×4 is called for! One of my greatest helpers this week has been the video of James on the homepage. This site is my 2×4. Blessings. 3 Reply Trish1 month agoTrishHi, Pollyanna! I have required a 2×4 on occasion as well. Goodness, we can be so dense at times😆. Thank You for reminding me about the videos. That prompted me to watch & learn from James. Inspiring…. 2 Reply Carol1 month agoCarolGratefulness provides me with a healthy perspective. It grounds me and keeps me on an even keel. When faced with pain and/or disappointment, I tend to forsake asking myself, “Why me?” Instead, I look for the silver-lining and have found that there is always a thread of hope and a lesson I can learn even in chaos. Gratefulness helps me to “Keep it Simple.” 11 Reply Carla1 month agoCarlaOnly by nurturing & growing a grateful heart will I have the right Spirit filled mindset, grounded here on earth with eyes towards the sky, to continue to walk into this still fresh new year. Sowers of seeds of peace are needed more now than ever before. I rise to participate with others in this task. 8 Reply Howie Geib1 month agoHowie GeibWith a fundamental deportment of gratitude comes a sense of openness and vulnerability, at least in my case.
