An Irish blessing to this wonderful Grateful Community ” May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand”

Grateful for all of you and for this site!

cultivating gratitude opens my heart to welcome, to joy, to soothe my own afflictions and those of the people I meet, to letting go, to peace.
I wish everyone a good end to this 2023 and a bright beginning of the new year.

I feel gratefulness invites an openness, a welcoming and an acceptance for what is. It is a gentle and kind reminder to show up for others. It is a blessing from Love itself. What will show up in the year ahead is an unknown in one sense, but a certainty is Love will be there each and every day.

For me the practice of gratefulness is a way of life in my life. I will continue to be grateful for all my blessings, even those things, events, that are so very difficult to accept & understand.
    I am blessed. 🌟✨
Happy Blessed New Year to All here.🥳
    Peace & Love….💕

Well, I will keep visiting here, because
It’s like a door that opens into a
room filled with loving and caring
people and starts my morning with
    thoughtful contemplation.
I will continue with my practices
and I will continue to let myself
be oriented toward gratitude for all I have
been given. Like a North Star, I will let it
guide me through the challenges and
    adventures in the year ahead.

I will continue having this website as part of my morning routine – it grounds me and I look forward to the Daily Question and reading everyone’s responses. It’s a great way to start the day:)
Wishing everyone a Happy, Healthy, New Year.

Starting the day with a grateful thought, a grateful smile to strangers, friends and dear ones as well as hopefully to remember often during the day to being grateful for all Love that is. Grateful for your presence and contributions here, friends. Happy New Year to you all, and beyond! ✨💖✨

Gratefulness, gratitude; that is where I want to begin many, many times a day. And when it doesn’t seem apparent, I want to look again.

You each bring a unique and often enlightening perspective to the conversations on this page. Thank you for taking the time to be a part of building this community. And thanks to each person from the gratefulness.org Staff who make this community possible.

The same way that it guides me into each new day… continue the work. Be grateful and focus on the many blessings that this life has given me and keeps giving me. Even in tough times, there is still always something to be grateful for. This past year, I have caught myself slipping away from my own belief system, getting caught up in the fear and worry… but when I have remembered to pause and look fully at the situation and what it is surrounded by, I have always found my way back to love, trust, hope… and gratefulness. Just keep swimming!

Gratefulness will guide me in the New Year; for I am Blessed to have another day and another year to look forward to. I don’t know how long my journey on this good earth will last but I am going to try very hard to always be grateful for all that I am and all that I have. Being here with all of you is truly a Blessing. Happy New Year, my friends.

As a practice. It is a Leveler, or a hand planer. Consistently used with even steady movement, gratitude takes the rough edges from my experience. Working its way against bitterness, anger, resentment, despair and melancholy. While embodying the contradiction of being forceful yet amazingly gentle.

Good to see you friend! Yes, a plane – and a Japanese style plane where you pull the tool towards you with care and precision.
