Kevin2 weeks agoKevinLetting go of “stuff” that I no longer use or need beginning with stored tubs in the basement. Finding new homes for some things, giving other stuff away and recycling things nobody wants. Some of it is hard to part with, and other items I’ve enjoyed seeing, reading and holding, and these memories and personal treasures make my “A” list of keepsakes. There’s a kind of simple freedom that comes from lightening ones possessions. And as soon as I said what needed to be said, I felt a huge weight lift off of my shoulders. It says that it is Prakrit which is the doer. The I is called purusha. It is never changing , not acting, imperishable and so on. So it is nature ( Prakrit) that is changing , growing, doing. May be I learnt a bit to separate a little between self and the changing world of phenomena. I can say that only because I am identified with phenomena.
