I am deeply grateful to all of you here for the resulting, currentl increasing freedom to swing from sadness to joy, from a feeling of starving and having come to want to a sense of fullness even if my pockets should be quite empty, and to stay balanced much better between the two sides of the coin through deciding for being grateful. To give more instead of expecting more is humbling and freeing, and strengthens the sense of belonging. So grateful. Thank you all for your being here with me. On a good day, living gratefully keeps me grounded, less anxious. It also helps me show my gratitude with actions. But yeah, like I said, still a work in progress (though aren’t we all?) 2 Reply Jerrie1 year agoJerrieGratefulness reminds me to count my blessings. Remember the lyrics “when I’m worried & I can’t sleep….”. Great song anytime. BTW. Today is “National Look for.a Rainbow Day.”. The rainbow cross-culturally is.a symbol of HOPE!!! It is this awe and silliness that is refreshingly keeping me with an outlook always new.I am thankful for my love of everyday living in this very physical world. 3 Reply 1 year agoThis odd daily life, this social distance, this long and forced “stay at home”, this sad news of deaths, of dead people transported by militar vans, would have been unbearable without gratitude. 5 Reply Maryke1 year agoMarykeI greet the world with amazement. Everyday brings something new to be thankful for. 5 Reply Debra1 year agoDebraMaryke: Yes, this is so true for me as well. Thankfulness is a much aligned “friend” of gratefulness.
