I am very grateful for my blessings and often because I take the time to pause and reflect, I can pass along my positive outlook. 0 Reply Ann Marie10 months agoAnn MarieBeing grateful for all the times spent with my sweet sister who passed away last month. Being physically and emotionally present during her battle with cancer was an honor, to help, to sit quietly, to provide care…While I mourn, I also am constantly reminded of her and special times we shared. 1 Reply Tahsin Tabassum10 months agoTahsin Tabassumit does help when I feel I have nothing, then I realize there are something I have to be proud of and happy about 1 Reply Delphine10 months agoDelphineLiving gratefully has taught me that there are positive things even in the worst day. Just because I am having a bad day or going through a though period doesn’t mean that I can’t be grateful for everything else that I have experienced in life and for the people around me 1 Reply Malag10 months agoMalagNoticing, appreciating and being grateful for the everyday things helps anchor in the now so I don’t live as much in an if/when: if this were different I could live my life; when things change I’ll be happy etc. 1 Reply Linda10 months agoLindaI am deeply grateful for all my friendships with high quality women. I know they will be there for me if and when I need them, and I will be there for them. 3 Reply Kristin10 months agoKristinLiving, quite deliberately, gratefully (which I can only do in fits and starts, of course. In cultivating this “noticing”, there appears to be MORE things to be grateful for than when I wasn’t paying attention. Similarly, when I cultivate an ungrateful attitude, there is a pain in the arse on every corner and my life seems stricken on all sides by evidence of Murphy’s Law at work. I guess it’s all down to the wolf you feed, eh? Read More4 Reply Jerrie10 months agoJerrieGratefulness keeps me on a more positive path through life. It helps me when I’m down reminding me to think of my blessings. Stay safe and well in this uncertain time. ???? 1 Reply Vincent-Edward Ciliberti10 months agoVincent-Edward CilibertiGratefulness is about thanking all those heroes who willingly are attending to their duties in the hope that the present world circumstances change and we could return to normality. 1 Reply TeriB10 months agoTeriBLiving gratefully has made me more appreciate of life’s ups and has taught me that everything that happens has a purpose. There is so much to learn during difficult times and if I search with a grateful heart my perspective can change. 1 Reply Hot Sauce10 months agoHot SauceLiving gratefully helps me remember that every up is-well-an up, while every down is an opportunity to learn, grow, and apply the lesson. Hardship helps me grow in resilience, wisdom, overcoming, and new ways of looking at life. 2 Reply GCharlotte10 months agoGCharlotteBy living gratefully I do not take anything for granted. My up days are relished with thanks and not forgotten because I am grateful making my down days much easier to pass through. 3 Reply Mark Piper10 months agoMark PiperIt’s wonderful to realize and practice the reality that gratefulness is not a corollary or dependent variable to the things of life that take up most of our times and worries. Gratitude like love can remain, while bank account balances rise and fall, while some relationships flourish or flounder; while emotions ebb-and-flow, I can still be grateful for where there is life (even suffering life) gratefulness exists, not in amounts, it just simply exists. 5 Reply Javier Visionquest10 months agoJavier VisionquestTake your losses in Autumn, combine weak colonies. Make splits and expand the apiary from strong survivor colonies (if any) in Spring. Gratefully accept swarms that arrive, unbidden, and move in without lifting a single human finger. I’m a beekeeper, whether I like it or not. 1 Reply Michele10 months agoMicheleDo you sell your honey? 2 Reply Javier Visionquest10 months agoJavier VisionquestIt’s their honey. Generally, I leave it for the colony or share an actual surplus with neighbors (with hopes they’ll stop treating their lawns like golf courses) 0 Reply Carla10 months agoCarlaLiving gratefully right sizes me to know that ALL is a gift from the God of my understanding. 1 Reply Katrina10 months agoKatrinaI am grateful for age, life experiences and wisdom that help me navigate life’s ups and downs with gratitude. 3 Reply reality10 months agorealityIt aids in my studies of humility, etc., as well as helping me deal with being tortured and assassinated every millisecond. Thanx for all you All do and have a good eve’ 🙂 reality 1 Reply Michele10 months agoMicheleI agree with Sarah. I make sure to be grateful each and every day and try to remember that no matter how bad it is for me, someone has it worse somewhere else. 3 Reply Pilgrim10 months agoPilgrimGratitude is me set point and my re-set point. Lately when my worries and fears start getting out of control, I remind myself of what I am and have been grateful for. Sort of returning to center, breathing, breathing again, moving forward. Or sitting still … 5 Reply devy10 months agodevyLiving gratefully allows me to maintain control of my emotions especially the anxiety and the fear of the future. It teaches me to except that life has its ups and downs, that I can’t control the bad things. It is better for my own mental and physical health to concentrate and in what I can control, yes to acknowledge but to except what is happening. I focus on all the things that I do have, of all the things that I can do and share in my life. 5 Reply 1 2 Next » My Private Gratitude Journal Write an entry in your private gratefulness journal Get Started This site is brought to you by A Network for Grateful Living, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
