Maybe you will be inspired to find new music – or not, Javier. Warm wishes to you. You still seem awfully dark these days as I look at you. 😜 3 Reply Javier Visionquest8 months agoJavier VisionquestEh, that generation wrote a lot of this stuff. Thank you for your consideration, Mica; that for my complexion, too! 2 Reply Mica8 months agoMicaThanks, Javier - I didn't want to call you 'black' so as not to disrespect people of color. A friend made shopping bags with big red and green tables of 'bad' and 'good' words - "Black sheep" should be "Rebel"; "Blackball" should be "Ostracize"; "Black Box" should be "Box of unknown content" - I prefer "Mystery Box". "Black and Blue" should be "Bruised". "Black Friday" should be "Friday after Thanksgiving". "Dark" should be "Mysterious," "macabre," "sad" - Oh!! I pay attention to area human service organizations that are constantly assessing the needs of the people whom they serve. When their wish list or “needs lists” goes out to the wider community I try to respond in any way that I can. 7 Reply Mica8 months agoMicaThanks, Kevin – I think you have inspired me to donate to a couple of organizations that promise to double my gift now. I’ve been sluggish about responding.. 🙃 Done – thanks so much Kevin – one org was going to give me note cards if I donated more than a certain amount, so I reduced my donation to a dollar less than that, but then I noticed that I could say ‘No’ to the gift cards, so I upped my donation. Thanks for giving me the gift of your answer as I start my day. 2 Reply Dusty Su8 months agoDusty SuYour storage tubs come to mind, ha, ha.
