I would like to offer that to others. I can be courageous and defend a position in front of authorities that people in a more fragile position and I consider important. 2 Reply GCharlotte11 months agoGCharlotteI can make a difference with what I have by giving my attention to the needs of others. 2 Reply Ingrid11 months agoIngridAs a teacher, I can support families with learning suggestions in order to offer some normalcy. What they do or don’t complete is irrelevant. Just knowing I’m out there and connecting with some consistency has to be enough for this moment in time. It’s all I can offer. It must be enough. 2 Reply Tahsin Tabassum11 months agoTahsin TabassumI am not sure 2 Reply Hot Sauce11 months agoHot SauceI should probably get back in the habit of carrying some cash around with me to give to anyone who might be homeless or in need of food around town, especially in St. Louis. Right now, I can’t really go anywhere because of the covid 19 crisis, but once this is over, maybe I can go to an ATM and get some cash to give to anyone I run into who is in need. 10 Reply Antoinette11 months agoAntoinetteShare! 4 Reply Hunter11 months agoHunterMy little town is putting together a Mutual Aid Society, and as we were doing an online meeting this morning, it occured to me that those of us who are older and staying in can still chat with other staying-in people on the phone–about gardens and birds and grandchildren and signs of Spring and the ordinary things that make life worth living. And I love to do that kind of chatting, so I’ve signed up to do it. 6 Reply Mica11 months agoMicaI welcome my granddaughters and their nanny to visit me whenever, now that they’re out of school. One came with the nanny yesterday afternoon. But it’s more of a getting than a giving, because it’s such a treat for me when they come! 4 Reply pkr11 months agopkrLike Ose I can pray. I have been praying and lighting candles. When I take my walk I share smiles, check in with others and be Love. Send love out into my neighborhood, to my loved ones, to Everyone. We are all in this together. Happy Spring to All. ???❤️ 7 Reply Debra11 months agoDebraI give of my heart ❤️. Physically isolated but staying connected through whatever virtual means are available. The best medicine I offer is laughter — soulful laughter. If I have a legacy at all, someone might remark on my gregariously goofy laugh for such a relatively slight person. Who knows? 8 Reply Gerry11 months agoGerryOld and housebound during this crisis, I offer a few words strung together with optimism, hope, gratitude, and humor, wherever I can. 10 Reply Debra11 months agoDebraGerry: You are young at heart, for sure. Thank you for being an inspiration for us all! Blessings, Debra 3 Reply Katrina11 months agoKatrinaI share a lot of links on social media – sort of a resource or networking central for friends who might see some great ideas for keeping kids busy, recipes, prayers, reassurances, photos of my garden, exercise ideas for all abilities (though I’m not very good at following through with this on my own), Bible studies, meditation practices. 6 Reply TeriB11 months agoTeriBWith the current situation I have joined a group within my community to help the elderly, immunocompromised or anyone that is in quarantine isolation to be sure that they have food, medicine, supplies etc. I am healthy and able and taking precautions to keep myself safe as well but I feel compelled to help those in need at this time. And YES too to “creativity in thoughts” for myself, includes ..the use of “visualization” of the life on earth as it was encouraged / by actual demonstrations / by Joshua Emmanuel. As the ancient wisdom which has now come to be called “Sufism” taught and applied (as did Joshua Emmanuel) .. “Visualization is indeed Heaven”. We all need to feel connected & to feel seen by others. It’s an enormous gift and I can make the decision to give it more freely. 7 Reply Michele11 months agoMicheleLike Ose, I will be lighting candles on this website. 6 Reply devy11 months agodevyIsolating myself at this time because of pre medical conditions does not allowed me to assist others physically. But my daily posts on my social media about gratefulness and being thankful has inspired a number of my friends and given them hope and encouragement. Phoning others and seeing how they are doing, helping out financially if I am able, taking over domicile responsibilities because my wife is teleworking at the house and has to be available 24 7 are other ways because f helping. 9 Reply Sarah11 months agoSarahI can make a difference by sharing my faith and conviction that we WILL get through this, and be stronger as a result. 6 Reply 1 2 Next » My Private Gratitude Journal Write an entry in your private gratefulness journal Get Started This site is brought to you by A Network for Grateful Living, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
