By talking to my friends, family members, neighbors about the need to exercise one’s civic responsibilities, like the civic duty to vote, in order that their Siamese twin sister, freedoms, won’t wither like unexercised muscles instead; also talk about phone-banking in one’s home, like online, to GOTV, voting early, carpooling to vote, and voting- in order to become more awake in mind, body, and spirit. Thanx for all you All do; have a blessed day 🙂 reality 1 Reply 333USA4 months ago333USAI can be more disciplined to make sure I take the time in the morning and the evening reflect on the many things that I have in my life to be grateful for. For instance, when I study Sufi Islam, it helps me to recognize that Allah is manifested in all of creation. 3 Reply Elaine4 months agoElaineMy body -based practices Essentrics and yoga awaken my whole self bodymindspirit. Then if I do this I can perceive the soft messages meant to answer my prayers. I also have to spend time in nature and go for long walks. Moving my body allows me to feel better and find the wonder of adventure in each moment. 3 Reply Javier Visionquest4 months agoJavier VisionquestShadow work is bringing those aspects of ourselves we deny to the surface; turning our darkness – shame, regret, anger, and unhealed trauma – into the light of consciousness. What happens to us is what happens within us and, while we are of this world, this is exactly what happens through us to heal the whole. Freedom and responsibility are inseparable. We are each doing our part to give birth to a new world. When I noticed that the place I look out from is still and silent, I realized it was the world around me that moved past me not me moving in the world – just like watching a movie. The inward domain is a boundless place to seek and wonder unfolds at every opportunity. 4 Reply Linda4 months agoLindaGoing for a walk today despite the cold and windy conditions will certainly wake me up in all of these! 4 Reply Zenith4 months agoZenithHow can I become more awake? I don’t think I can here on Earth. I think every day that I actively look for things to be grateful for really helps us see more. And over time that wakes us up more and more to the point where we are beings moving in the midst of a different race of beings. It is quite interesting. 3 Reply Rowshan4 months agoRowshanBy becoming more aware of my blessings. 4 Reply pkr4 months agopkrBy staying in the Present Moment & reminding myself to take it all in, this very present moment. 🙏 4 Reply Patricia4 months agoPatriciaDoing this and another practice in the morning…. a touchstone on gratefulness, a reflection on the Christlight in my life and in the world/cosmos. I read EJP’s comment “look around with all senses”—I concur and know I need to add my heart chakra, to take in the experiences of all my senses. 4 Reply devy4 months agodevyContinue on with my gratitude thinking and acceptance. By not focusing on the negativity going on around me and continuing to accept my difficult upbringing and other life experiences as a life lesson and not a sentence. By being mindful, living in the present, focusing on what and who I have through my daily meditation and reflection, by looking after by physical body by monitoring what I eat and my physical activity and my daily walks in nature. 5 Reply kimthompsen4 months agokimthompsenEliminate unnecessary distractions.
