Dusty Su10 months agoDusty SuI used to wake up daily and raise my arms, stretch my body, while saying, “I love my life!” Whether I felt it or not. With each step to the bathroom, Thank, step, you, step, on repeat. The first sip of coffee savored while watching the sun rising for even a few seconds. Then reading something positive (such as this site) while finishing the mug. I’ve lagged on the parts up to the coffee for a while. Incredibly, this morning, before reading this, I started again. Thanx for all you All do; have a great day 🙂 reality 4 Reply Dusty Su10 months agoDusty SuLove that! 2 Reply reality10 months agoreality🙂 3 Reply Cailinrua10 months agoCailinruaOn some days, merely opening this website and reading the question, perhaps responding, or writing two lines in my journal is all I can manage during times of great stress. Clearly, I need to expand on that! But it’s like brushing my teeth: on the days (and they are few) when I don’t open the site, I feel that something is wrong. 7 Reply Debra10 months agoDebraConsciously experiencing, expressing and loving the magnificent moments frequenting my life. Being fully present with a grateful heart for the abundance unfolding from spirit. Gratefulness is being woven into the fabric of what seemingly is a new beginning, a new awareness, a new life for me. 5 Reply GCharlotte10 months agoGCharlotteI do not have to feel privileged always for the gifts of everyday living but feel grateful for what is. 4 Reply TeriB10 months agoTeriBI have been participating in this website for this very reason. By finding something to be grateful for in all circumstances, for being more mindful and appreciative of all there is to be grateful for. For finding joy in the simplest of things. 6 Reply Butterfly10 months agoButterflyThis website has helped enormously to remind me every day to look for things for which to be grateful. Even the most basic of our senses are things to be truly grateful for. On my bad days, when I feel very ill, I try to remember that I have my eyesight, my hearing, and food to taste and enjoy, even though my senses are so over-sensitive on those days I’m in the dark and in silence! Then I am glad to have a comfortable, safe place to be ? 5 Reply Gerry10 months agoGerryAnswering the daily questions, usually at length in my journal, and reading the reflections of others. Posting three things every day that I am happy about As it turns out, these postings are always about gratitude, implicit or implied. 5 Reply JoeytheHoff10 months agoJoeytheHoffI’d like to get back in the habit of answering these daily questions in bed before I start my day or at night before I fall asleep. I imagine that starting the day with gratitude moving forward or ending it in positive reflection will have a healthy influence on my disposition. 5 Reply Mica10 months agoMicaBy continuing my daily visits to gratefulness.org 6 Reply Katrina10 months agoKatrinaI do need accountability – practices like this, or a gratitude journal to keep me on tract. But it is well worth it in turning around negativity, frustration and disappointment. 6 Reply Ed10 months agoEdA moment of grateful awareness is its own reward. Positive reinforcement happens automatically given a small opening! Very likely to be repeated. It’s the easiest of practices! 5 Reply Antoinette10 months agoAntoinetteThe wonderful quote of the day reminds us to: ”Seek goodness everywhere, and when it is found, bring it out of its hiding place and let it be free and unashamed.” Looking for goodness everywhere is a beautiful way to practice grateful living. Some days I’m pretty good at this skill & then I get caught up in the negative ridiculousness of the world. Paying attention & training my brain are key. 4 Reply Michele10 months agoMicheleIt has by joining and participating on this website each morning. 6 Reply devy10 months agodevyDaily morning affirmations meditation. Watching the good day video and or the many videos one can now find on the internet. I find that this energizes my thoughts and helps start my Day. It may even reduce fear and may possibly be inspiring for all concerned. William Saroyan My daughter was given an exercise by the Scouts this week: to do a “good turn” every day and write it down. On the first day, I asked her if she had done any. She answered: “I don’t know” 🙂 So now, each day I am on the look-out for any good thing she does, then I ask her to write it down. I have noticed that it helps me appreciate her even more. 10 Reply Mica10 months agoMicaPalm – how sweet!
