Ose7 months agoOseAgain, greeting everyone I meet by silently offering a rose saying “thank you for being here with me”. 0 Reply Malag7 months agoMalagIt comes to me in being here now. I can’t make myself do more of that. It’s there when it’s therenwhen there’s awareness. 3 Reply SirPee7 months agoSirPeeI just wake up, get grateful and be filled with gratitude for being healthy and alive everyday… I see each day as a blessing and a bonus to be grateful for and pray for the blessings/positives of each day to be my portion. 3 Reply dcdeb7 months agodcdebWriting down a list of what i’m grateful for. 6 Reply Linda7 months agoLindaI look for ways to “do the right thing” in most situations and I feel it helps balance what is going on in the world. 2 Reply Nelson7 months agoNelsonOn a whim, I just wanted to try something. I don’t do the automated thanks just to end conversations. That split second done over several conversations throughout the day got me more and more present to the specific things in my day that made me feel good. I also noticed specific gratitude made people feel good. It’s win-win for everyone. And all it took was getting into a new habit that really didn’t require any effort. Today: thankful for a friend who was stepped up willingly several times to help me in my move to my new house. Including last night in rush hour traffic. With ease and cheerfulness. I am grateful for landing in a clean, freshly painted apartment and the care that others put into making it a welcoming space for me. 6 Reply Michele7 months agoMicheleBest wishes to you Maeve in your new home:) 1 Reply Maeve7 months agoMaeveThanks! 0 Reply Mary Pat7 months agoMary PatI could slow down. The ability of me focusing on being grateful has alot to do with me slowing down and thinking about it...really, thinking at all! I have gotten busy again, and am not over Covid yet. That is not good for me. I need to step back again a bit until maybe next year. I am going to try today to focus on how grateful I am to not have gotten so ill that I had to be hospitalized, instead of thinking how far behind in things I am. And in just slowing down, I realize I am very grateful...I could slow down. And in just slowing down, I realize I am very grateful! And to realize I am grateful for alot of other things right now…but I do need to slow down….and as Patricia says, stop and breathe! I have a reminder to do a minute Take A Breathe meditation on my phone. Lately I have looked at it and thought-I don’t have time-I’ll do it later, but later never comes….I will do my best to slow down again…..thank you…..and thank you Patricia for reminding me!
