Today, that richness continues, as my entire family, three daughters, three sons-in-law, and seven grandchildren, all lives locally and continue to enrich my life and my wife’s life every day. 13 Reply Sandra9 months agoSandraThis is so beautiful, Kevin. I am one of 4 daughters and I think my father would say the same as you 😊 I, in turn, am rich in fathers. I may have just one but he has been a huge gift and an unending source of richness. 1 Reply Kevin9 months agoKevinThanks for your kind words here, Sandra. And how wonderful and precious that you have the relationship with your dad that you do. I’ve had some of our daughters adult friends approach me and say that they wished that they could say the same thing about their fathers, but cannot, and could not, for reasons too painful to discuss. With reality as a backdrop, how lucky are we to be so blessed, for family, and love to flow so freely within? 2 Reply Sandra9 months agoSandraYes, absolutely, Kevin. I remember well when I first started to realise that not all families were like mine. It is a rare and precious thing and I value it daily 😊 1 Reply Pilgrim9 months agoPilgrimThis reminds me of Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof! Gave me a huge smile this morning.
