It said it isn’t always easy to love someone especially if they have been unkind to you. But act with love regardless of your feelings. 9 Reply Howie Geib3 months agoHowie GeibResistance is the implication of potential connection. It is with the pushing back that I am aware of the presence of other. The drag that slows me down causes me to at once both be more effortful and to pay attention. It piques a certain readiness. As a force in nature resistance can be an ally. Harnessed correctly it can actually be an advantage (my fellow body surfers can attest to this!)...as for love, I can only say that within this give and take I feel so good, and this is a feeling I love...Resistance is the implication of potential connection. In ‘time and place’ love you will never find two people who emanate love in exactly the same way. ( but totally misunderstood by most who use it as a quote at weddings etc ) The fun part of this question is the challenge each person must face in accepting that ‘time and place’ love requires knowing it very very likely wont be a perfect union. And in accepting that truth, it can then be called “true love”. Brilliant design going on there, and as Luke said ….. ““But I say to you who hear; Love those who call themselves your enemies. Do good to those who hate you. Bless those who curse you and pray for those who spitefully use you” Luke 6; 27-28 Read More7 Reply EJP3 months agoEJPLove comes in many shapes and sizes, disguised in my ways and taught on many levels. Those with whom we struggle teach us this and more. 10 Reply Holly in Ohio3 months agoHolly in OhioWhen I struggle to love I learn about myself and find the parts of myself on which I still need to heal. It teaches me not only how to love better, but also patience, interest in others, and connectedness. 6 Reply sunnypatti3 months agosunnypattiThat each of us are individuals with our own human experiences, and that love does not have conditions. Those I struggle with remind me that I am not perfect, I make mistakes, and I struggle with myself sometimes. But I should love myself and all others no matter what. Love is what we came from and what we are. Be kind and gentle with each other. 7 Reply Kevin3 months agoKevinThat on some days and within certain situations, I just need to love “certain” people all the more fully. Some days I succeed at this, and some days I don’t. 9 Reply Pam3 months agoPamThat anything is possible with love in your heart 5 Reply Michele3 months agoMicheleThat I still love them. 4 Reply Mica3 months agoMicaMe, too, Michele – that’s a wonderful place to end up 💕 2 Reply « Previous 1 2 My Private Gratitude Journal Write an entry in your private gratefulness journal Get Started This site is brought to you by A Network for Grateful Living, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
