I know it’s a small act, but I hope at least some can find it meaningful. 3 Reply Elaine2 months agoElaineJust mailed a box of chocolates to a dear friend – just cuz. 4 Reply Don Jones2 months agoDon JonesI think today, I will consciously not use any single use plastic. 3 Reply Michele2 months agoMicheleI bought a wooden set of utensils to bring to work so I don’t use the plastic ones. I had seen a co worker with hers and thought it was a great idea. 2 Reply Present Moment2 months agoPresent Momentthere are no people to serve, so I will gently wash off the splatters of concrete water that have speckled my night blooming jasmine during recent construction. 2 Reply Kate2 months agoKateOh, I also donated to a charity today. It has been a hard year for everyone and I know I am fortunate so doing what I can to give back. 2 Reply Kate2 months agoKateToday I am sending hope and prayers to those around the world who are suffering, especially those who have been impacted by the recent acts of terrorism. I will show my appreciation for the ones I love and smile at strangers where I can. 2 Reply Lauryn2 months agoLaurynI don’t know that I’ll leave my house today…. but in general, I will try to be more understanding of those who don’t share my beliefs. I’ll carry the random act of kindness thought with me throughout the rest of this difficult week 💜 3 Reply Antoinette2 months agoAntoinetteToday I did a few small acts for people around me . I made my son lunch and took it to his school and drove my other sons girlfriend to work so she didn’t need to walk in the rain. I sent a message to someone who was not at paining class today and told her I hoped she was well and missed her at class. Today I wish everyone all around the world safety and wellness. I hope and pray that this election is peaceful and democratic. I pray that people everywhere have their basic needs met and we can...Today I did a few small acts for people around me . I pray that people everywhere have their basic needs met and we can live in a world where we see that we are all human beings and want the same things. To be loved and cared for and can have their needs met. I hope for campaign reform and a democratic fair system to lead the world in compassion and kindness. I pray for healing of divisions. Meanwhile, I will be open to another opportunity for another kind (& spontaneous and random) act this day. 7 Reply Papilio2 months agoPapilioYes. I have two places to go today after my morning meditation. I’ll smile at strangers and will utter kinds words if those words formed naturally. 6 Reply Javier Visionquest2 months agoJavier VisionquestMy vote was cast weeks ago. Today I’m scheduled for 8 hours of kindness. I’ll try and keep it as random as possible 8 Reply sunnypatti2 months agosunnypattiIf it’s random, I don’t know what it might be 🙂 But yes I can, and yes I will. We shall see what this day puts on my path. 6 Reply Patricia2 months agoPatriciaExactly, Sunnypatti! If it’s random, can I plan for it??! 🙂 3 Reply kimthompsen2 months agokimthompsenOne thing came to mind immediately: pray for the good health and happiness of the candidate I did not vote for. And mean it. That’s probably one of the hardest acts of kindness I could do today. 5 Reply Patricia2 months agoPatriciaI was praying for the grace of being compassionate towards those who are divisive, angry and just plain “not the sharpest knives in the drawer” today. 4 Reply Trish2 months agoTrishHaha💜 2 Reply devy2 months agodevyToday i have to see a dentist so it is one of the few times that I will be going out in public and being with people. I will take the opportunity to thank the people and dentist at the clinic for their work during these difficult times. With Other people I will say hello and smile under my mask…people can still see and hear my 😊 6 Reply EJP2 months agoEJPI will by just simply smiling to a stranger or speaking kind words on the phone. 7 Reply 2 months agoYes I can. Perhaps something at work. Maybe something at home. Definitely not on the commute though. Maybe it will be doing things they didn’t ask me to at work but may appreciate as I have plenty and I mean plenty of breathing space in between assigned tasks there. 4 Reply 1 2 Next » My Private Gratitude Journal Write an entry in your private gratefulness journal Get Started This site is brought to you by A Network for Grateful Living, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
