Everything is energy, and we are all connected. I learned some time ago the impact we all have on this world, and know the impact I have with my own thoughts and actions. One little ripple can make a big difference! I don’t always remember this, but I do always try to remember to be mindful and practice what I preach. 6 Reply Trish1 year agoTrishIt’s a huge responsibility but I’m up for the challenge! Keeping this truth at the forefront helps guide my day. Every decision I make has a consequence & it’s important for me to remember that & to invest in living my life with intention. 5 Reply Carla1 year agoCarlaAs I reflect on the life of public service by Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, I see how the actions of one woman, small in stature, rippled to thousands+ women, children & men. It’s ok I will never have “that” effect. My role in this cosmic dance is different. I AM creating change, beginning with smiling eyes under a mask & all other actions I take. 5 Reply Pilgrim1 year agoPilgrim“We cannot all do great things. But we can do small things with great love.” Mother Teresa 11 Reply devy1 year agodevyMy impact to the world may seem to be minimal compared to the numbers of others but I try to focus on the collective contributions I have with others with similar actions. This makes a difference. 5 Reply Howie Geib1 year agoHowie GeibThis is a good idea for me as these days I tend to consider myself essentially invisible in the moment to moment sense. I am not as aware as I might be of how I touch the world as I move through my day, and so it is a welcome reminder. Not that I think of myself as lacking in value or better put ‘potential’, as much as a laziness in not treating consciousness as necessarily participatory in and of itself. My thoughts and attitudes ripple out like sound waves doing their part quickening harmo...This is a good idea for me as these days I tend to consider myself essentially invisible in the moment to moment sense. Not that I think of myself as lacking in value or better put ‘potential’, as much as a laziness in not treating consciousness as necessarily participatory in and of itself. My thoughts and attitudes ripple out like sound waves doing their part quickening harmony or dissonance as they go, so it is more strategic if I do that creatively. Then what? 4 Reply Lioness1 year agoLionessIt took me a while to think about this but then I realise, what I do today will have an impact. No matter how small or insignificant I think something that I do is, it will impact more than just me and that will ripple out. It may not spread to the whole world but any small contribution will help and it’s all about the small things having a greater impact as the become bigger and bigger through others too. 6 Reply Howie Geib1 year agoHowie GeibAfter uploading my answer I read yours, and the rippling is a very strong image for me as well! Now, just how to keep the vigilance from paralyzing me! 4 Reply Present Moment1 year agoPresent MomentMy way is to constantly return to present moment. 4 Reply « Previous 1 2 My Private Gratitude Journal Write an entry in your private gratefulness journal Get Started This site is brought to you by A Network for Grateful Living, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
