Arleen1 year agoArleenYes, I can for today. Just for today. And tomorrow, just for that day. And so on. Taking it one day at a time. 0 Reply KC1 year agoKCYes. 0 Reply Linda1 year agoLindaYes. 1 Reply Antoinette1 year agoAntoinetteYes! 2 Reply Malag1 year agoMalagYes 3 Reply Maeve1 year agoMaeveYes, I will try to remember this. Emailing Nebyu’s father, welcoming his family back to the school, from Ethiopia. Making roasted vegetables for Donna? I hope so. Sitting in on Cynthia’s class, not knowing what to do, but being there, and encouraging her and them. 2 Reply Hot Sauce1 year agoHot SauceI can absolutely live with the knowledge that all I do has an impact on the world. Perhaps my goal should be to use as little technology as possible and to reduce, reuse, and recycle when possible, so as to reduce my pollution footprint on the earth. Also, taking appropriate precautions related to the pandemic (wearing a mask and social distancing) will help me to reduce the chance of accidentally contradicting Covid-19 and spreading it to others. 2 Reply Ose1 year agoOseYes, and it brings to mind to be ever so careful, caring and to meet everything with loving kindness in thought, feeling and deed. 3 Reply Ed Schulte1 year agoEd SchulteAs an Essene I live by the principle of knowing full well that, “As a Human Being I live on this Planet. And as a Spirit-Soul-Self, this planet, and the Universe, lives in me”. So there is no doubt that every thought, very motion is effecting, permanently, that evolving body/Universe named “I Am I”. [ and I am, a mask wear=er, social distance-er, and hand wash-er…..and volunteer -er } 7 Reply Don Jones1 year agoDon JonesYes. And I have volition. I choose Life and Living 100% on. I choose to plant the seeds today for tomorrows forests. 4 Reply Linda1 year agoLindaYes. I am dealing with a difficult coworker who tends to be very aggressive in email. Rather than trying to fight back, so to speak, today I asked her how she is doing. I am hoping to change the tenor of our relationship by “Seeking first to understand, then to be understood.” Perhaps it will positively impact both our worlds, perhaps not, but it feels better doing it. 5 Reply Antoinette1 year agoAntoinetteLovely Linda ! Thank you for making peace in the world ! 2 Reply devy1 year agodevyYes..perhaps she is going through her own personal battles which in turn affects her mood and how she thinks and communicates. 1 Reply Antoinette1 year agoAntoinetteNom violent communication is the key 🔑 0 Reply Maggie1 year agoMaggieYes. And I hope that it will a positive impact. 3 Reply DeVonna1 year agoDeVonnaThis is a challenge for me, I feel rather insignificant on the global stage…BUT I can do small things for the people around me that impact them for good. I will! 4 Reply Melissa1 year agoMelissaYES I will give it everything I have got to be aware as best I can of my impact through all connections. Even if it feels like it won’t matter in all cases at least I did my part to the best of my ability and insight. 4 Reply Present Moment1 year agoPresent MomentYES. YES. YES. All I DON’T do and all I think or say affects the whole. 5 Reply pkr1 year agopkrYes, I can. 🙏 4 Reply Michele1 year agoMicheleYes, buy wearing a mask you are helping others to not spread Covid – that has an impact on the world. Smile, smile at others and spread kindness. 5 Reply Maggie1 year agoMaggieThank you for wearing a mask. I lost my husband to COVID and the world feels kinder when I see people with masks in public. 3 Reply Michele1 year agoMicheleI am so sorry for the loss of your husband. I will light a candle for him and your family on this website. 0 Reply Malag1 year agoMalagI’m so very sorry for your loss, Maggie. My thoughts are with you now. 1 Reply Zenith1 year agoZenithI don’t believe that everything that I do impacts the world. There are far too many people for that. But collective action such as group meditation can have a small impact. But I can meet the day with gratitude trusting that with another opportunity to practice gratitude, I am part of the solution. 4 Reply Mica1 year agoMicaI agree, Zenith – I’d have to define ‘the world’ as a very small number of people connected with me somehow, to say that everything that I do impacts the world. Warm wishes to you – 0 Reply Papilio1 year agoPapilioDefinitely YES. The smoke from raging CA wildfires drifted to the East coast and Europe. Covid-19 has spread all over the world. The more I’m aware that our lives on Earth are interconnected, the more I’m eager to take small steps, for example to eliminate plastic from my life as much as possible or to offer small kindness to two people each day. 5 Reply Patricia1 year agoPatriciaYes, I commit to this! I almost didn’t post any kind of reply at all – because I simply wanted to affirm my commitment and that didn’t seem “post-worthy”. Then I realized that even my wee YES posted here might have an impact on the world in encouraging more simple YES responses! 11 Reply 1 2 Next » My Private Gratitude Journal Write an entry in your private gratefulness journal Get Started This site is brought to you by A Network for Grateful Living, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
