Add humour to the mix. Help in some small way. Smile & acknowledge 3 Reply Dakota4 months agoDakotaAt the very least a smile but in these times the smiles can’t always be seen so a direct look in the eyes, a small head nod or a few words of hello and how are you doing. 3 Reply Maeve4 months agoMaeveWriting and email to 82-year-old M.L. at the end of the day. Are we expected to be some sort of extra in the movie of our own lives? To kindly greet each fellow person I encounter, with eye contact if they allow it and with gratitude for their being here with me. 2 Reply Mel4 months agoMelKind greetings with embrace to loved ones first thing in the morning. Deep breaths to greet the day. 2 Reply Don Jones4 months agoDon JonesShow up each day as the best version of myself. The rest will flow from that. 2 Reply Melissa4 months agoMelissaSince I see folks now by walking down the street or trails now far apart. To be safe for all. I wave and hope my eyes are smiling. 2 Reply Samuel4 months agoSamuelBy giving others a smile and a friendly greeting. Simply acknowledging another’s presence and value as a fellow human being can be priceless to some yet costs me nothing except for a little kindness and thoughtfulness… 2 Reply Eliza4 months agoElizaTo listen with full attentiveness and without judgement. 3 Reply Zenith4 months agoZenithListening. Affirmation. A smile. Staying 6 feet away. Simple things but oh so important. 3 Reply antigonerex4 months agoantigonerexI’m thinking about holding the door open or offering help when I see it could be useful. I’m not sure because not everyone is open to the same kinds of gestures. 3 Reply Shirley Ray4 months agoShirley RayListen and attend to whomever is in front of me. 4 Reply Linda4 months agoLindaI stay in touch with friends, all of whom are suffering under the raging fires here in the Northwest. 3 Reply Michele4 months agoMicheleSmile at others. 2 Reply pkr4 months agopkrI can smile, offer a silent blessing, share a kind word. Just be nice, be kind. ? 4 Reply Will Saunders4 months agoWill SaundersI have learned that it doesn’t take much to brighten the day of others. I smile, a “hello, how are you?” can go a long way. One day while getting a cup of coffee, I paid for the beverage of the person in line ahead of me. Anything you do that’s unconditional is a great gesture. 3 Reply amacord4 months agoamacordIn spite of wearing a mask that covers a smile, I can smile with my eyes to another masked person. In these troubled times it helps to be seen and to acknowledge each other. Many of us are lonely, isolated and fearful; and miss connections with others. So we smile and silently wish others well. 8 Reply Present Moment4 months agoPresent MomentI am going to paint big smiles on my plain masks. 4 Reply pkr4 months agopkrAmacord, sending you a smile ?.
