I have experienced a calm and more awareness for the beauty around me.
A few years back I joined a group called the Sagers. Our ages are 60 – 95. We encourage each other to age positively. We gather wisdom from living long and look at the guft of aging. This journey is easier together.
My awe was seeing about 10 sparrows enjoy a make shift bird bath. They enjoyed drinking and splashing as a few others waited. Brene’ Brown in her book THE ALTAS OF THE HEART talks about theses emotions of awe and wonder. Have a great Monday!
I had a moment about a month ago! I was coming home an unfamiliar way. I came to a four way stop and the cars were not moving. My first thought was panic! What happened! And what happened was a respectful wait for a doe and her fawn to cross the road. What a moment of peace and awe.
I need to know what they are before I know if I am following them! My intuition will flare up when I have gone against them.
I am grateful for the herbalist who introduced me to making a tea with rosemary and yarrow. I am thankful for nature.
It is local.
This is lovely. Thank you!
A very lovely practice. Wishing you a full recovery!
This is a great thought. Thank you for sharing!
I have heard “not my circus not my monkeys.”
Congrats! That is awesome!
You expressed what I was thinking. I give more of my heart and talent than money and volunteering. This is a good question to ponder.
This seems like perfect words to describe BEING in the moment. Thank you for sharing!
Loving and peace-filled thoughts go with you.
That is a profound thought! Thank you!
That is amazing work. Keep it up and I am glad you found this site. The journey continues and we are with you.
Thank you. We just sang this at a funeral of a special needs person! A great reminder!
May safety and wisdom be with your son and the group. My granddaughter is participating in a similar program and is in 8th grade. This is hopeful!
Happy Birthday! If I could give you a gift, I would give you love and laughter, a peace-filled heart, a special dream, and joy forever.
