Gratefulness
In my area it is being promoted NO MOW MAY. It helps the bees. To me even those yards are beautiful!
I will have many opportunities to “mingle” with folks today in various venues. I will be conscious of being present in the busyness of interaction. Some venues will be stressful, so I will respect and listen to other’s point of view.
For me it is appreciation. It is also the magnificent creation of the divine and the multitude of possibilities. Maya Angelou says “This is a wonderful day. I have never seen this one before. “
EVERYTHING! I commit to savoring every moment!
My world is pretty small right now. I am looking forward to putting myself in a position to meet “different ” people.
That there are books on my shelf that have the information I presently need.
I would like to learn how to live more confidently in the tech world. I want to learn how to be a “long distance ” parent and grandparent keeping up strong relationships. I want to learn how to be more gracious with my aging body and “slowed down” mind. I want to learn to be more aware of the Holy One present in me. I am also at the back of the class but slowly moving forward. I thank you classmates for the help.
The beauty of each response here helps lift my soul and appreciate a bit better. The flags are whipping straight out on their poles. The wind will help the bud casings reveal the underlying beauty each tree has.
The storms in my life helped me to appreciate my supporters. They also strengthened my faith in a higher power.
At first I was puzzled as to what my answer is. I am grateful for the responses because they stir up in me my own answer. I have often believed that everything is for a reason. I also believe I am guided by a power greater than me and will be guided in ways that help my growth and make others a bit better because they met me. I will be 80 soon and this quote rings true: Life can only be understood backwards but must be lived forward. Kierkegaard.
A sense of peace and wholeness.
Where you my neighbor? I enjoyed the activities you mentioned. Thanks for listing them.
This website brings me to a peaceful place each morning. My day starts out on a good note when I read the replies. I am grateful for gratefulness.org Thank you everyone! You are all precious gems and gifts to each other.
Thank you for sharing. I recently had a similar situation with a good friend. She transitioned within 10 days of her multiple diagnosis. She was not in control but family and friends rallied around her.
That is such a beautiful way to approach that situation. Thank you for being a role model. Blessings to you as you continue on.
I love how this international community supports each other. We are friends and have the qualities of compassion, listening, and caring. May you both experience a quick and full recovery.
I had the same thought. Thanks for putting it in print.
