I have learned that it doesn’t take much to brighten the day of others. I smile, a “hello, how are you?” can go a long way. One day while getting a cup of coffee, I paid for the beverage of the person in line ahead of me. Anything you do that’s unconditional is a great gesture.
My most desirable core value is being giving and thoughtful to others, unconditionally. It’s my way to pay it forward.
I think it’s the effort and goal towards kindness that matters most. As long as we keep striving toward that goal, it’s okay if we do not succeed at it.
