It’s hard to be grateful, when there is not much to be grateful about.
But, gratitude is more than just an attitude.
This mortality itself is not something to be glossed over, as God is not mortal, so we are having an experience which God never had himself, but which he allowed his son to have.
So, we can take it as a sacrifice of our soul self into mortality for God’s reasons, which must be good, because God is good, so, we should have gratitude for this same chance to live and to die, that God gave his only son too.
