Gratefulness
Envy and jealousy are something I have to admit, seem to get the best of me at times. I know it is related to my lack of self-confidence and self-esteem I have accomplished so many things in my life and have been blessed with so much. Why do I still envy even some of the people around me a love so much? I am working on this very hard and will continue to do so. I like this question that then has me look at it from a different perspective and how I can learn from it. Maybe if I can learn...
Maybe if I can learn from it, I can then conquer this envy inside me.
As I look over the previous responses I can identify so much with so many of them. Sometimes I feel to make myself a better person I have more “not to do’s” than “to does”. I have been working hard at not being judgmental of others and being more positive with them and will continue this journey.
I want to look more deeply at bettering myself. Bettering my relationships, bettering how I feel about myself, bettering my health – both emotionally and physically..
One of my 3 ganddaighters and I are “giggle partners”. She just turned two and I learned several months ago that she loves my laugh so when I giggle, she does too. We can go on for quite awhile together until my jaw hurts! I do wish I were more witty with adults. I envy those people who are because laughter is such a gift!
Continue my recycling efforts and love for this planet that we share. Above all I will try to bring beauty through my acts and words.
