Haiku thank you’s
hands dancing kites swirl winds spins limbs, leaving trees bare dragons fighting air
love the funny dentist haiku by Brother David
Bike fall face flat down blood spreading fear meets soft soles circled communion
Black illuminates falling stars, rising beams and moon following us
Waterfalls transport thunder misted tales flowing silence of the scene
Ball in sky captures eyes away from screams finding home in outstretched hands
Bike rides through shadows, sun splashed streets and hill crests once sparkling mirages
Dying dad greets wife owner of cruel pointed barbs eyes flash tenderness
Early morning pond breathes steam to greet the sun’s warm birthing light
Sun becomes halo embracing cold dark landscape letting shadows play
Fog’s breadth softens scenes with see through veils that invite eyes to surrender
Trees bark silently, hidden roots hold offering bouquets to the sky
heart art start here now where nothing is but you overflowing
I’m sharing a haiku written in response to drive by shootings, using A-L words for first 2 lines A B C Dead End Feel Gun’s Heat, I Just Knew Love R I P my heart
Along the way, the teacher in his/her understanding ways, lost the magic carpet ride of mystery. What is real is what’s alive in us.
