I am grateful I joined our local hiking club and have gone on 1 trip to the mountains as well as 50+ local hikes with them. I absolutely fell in love with hiking.
my husband surprises me all the time with thoughtful unexpected things he does for me like doing a lot of maintance on the car, unexpected date day, cooking dinner…
_get outside every single day _practice gratitude _make activities and spaces beautiful (setting the table, flowers…) _dress for joy _spend more time on doing hair/nails… _plan fun activities with friends and loved ones _go on hikes and runs

Stressing about work or feeling defeated, not good enough steals my joy.
I would like to cultivate: * a gratitude practice * a journaling practice * a cleaning routine * regularly attending hiking club and run club * clean eating

Journaling, teachers and mentors and life experiences. I think I might grow from tools I am learning through a mentor and a book as well as personal growth.
How can I take my health & well being to the next level? I gave up meat in February and am on a journey to heal and nourish my body with life giving foods. I also added juicing into my diet. One of the reasons I have given up meat is to lower my cholesterol that has been high for last few years. I don’t want to go on medicine for that. I want food to be my medicine.
A poem if you knew by Ellan Bass starts off with the line If you knew you would be the last one to touch somebody. And it goes on to tell a story about an older lady’s last encounter with a waiter at lunch and he joked with her and kissed her powdered face and then fell down dead walk in the street shortly after that. my son made coffee for his girlfriend and himself in a press coffee maker and offered me a cup and I said Yes.
both of my kids made offerings to me. My other son picked me up a mini blizzard too. It is good to say Yes to other people’s kindness and offerings. It seemed like the kids enjoyed doing something for me.
