When my Dad was in the hospital in Hospice and dieing, I was walking down the hall in the hospital and feeling so sad, my heart was breaking. A lady smiled at me and it meant so much, she was like an Angel. This was 14 years ago and I remember it so clearly. I will think of this and smile at everyone I see today. I love this Thich Nhat Hahn quote, “Because of your smile, you make life more beautiful”. 💖😊
Terri, I LOVE this essay, it truly resonates with me! One huge “baby” step for me was learning to say no when it felt right for me. The first time I did it I was shaking! I have had “Kleenex moments”, one where I said “I am sorry” to my brother and his wife whom I had not communicated with for years. With the “acts of bravery” I have done, I have healed so much! At 66 years of age I have never been happier or more at peace! How blessed I am! Tha...

My life has been and continues to be touched by SO much kindness! To make a specific list, it would be impossibly long! Today’s ‘Daily Inspiration’ I received from Alan Cohen is a quote from an unknown source, “If you have to choose between being right and being kind, be kind and you will always be right”. Wishing everyone a Happy Friday!😊
Since I have learned to be grateful and not take anything for granted, the transformation that has occurred in my life is what I would call extraordinary! I now recognize the preciousness of life and the overwhelming abundance of blessings we are continually given. It is like, ‘where I was blind, now I see’. Thank-you, God! Thank-you gratefulness.org! Wishing everyone a peaceful and happy Wednesday.🌷
Oh, a resounding YES, Nada! This morning I was thinking how gratefulness has SO proundly changed my life! How I give thanks to God for letting me live long enough to have learned to be grateful. What a precious gift life is! Thank-you for this beautiful essay and for the inspiration you are, dear Nada! Thank-you, also to gratefulness.org!
With so much love to all, Sheila💕🌻
This project is so beautiful! We are all products of our conditioning and it is so important to bring this to the younger people and ‘open their eyes’ and make them aware of the interconnectedness of all life. It made me think of the healer’s prayer from A Course in Miracles, ‘Let me know this brother, as I know myself’. God bless everyone involved with this project for their wonderful work! 🌏☮
Everything and everyone who has ever touched my life in any way, cannot be lost and has been essential to bring me to this point. The feeling of love, peace and gratitude that swells up in my heart at times is beyond words. How could I ask to be any richer! God bless everyone at gratefulness.org and all who visit this site. 💕🌻
Honestly, when I am at home in my apartment. When I have been out and come home, I feel an ‘energy shift’ and it feels so peaceful. I feel content at home no matter what I am doing. Blessings and love to all.🌷
Ger, your reply spoke to my heart and is a big help to me. Thank-you!!! It brought to mind this line from one of the ‘Conversations with God’ books, “No one does anything inappropriate given their model of the world”. Have a good day, Ger!😊 Bless you.

Francine, you are so right about a shift in attitude! It makes me think of Wayne Dyer’s quote, “Change the way you see things and the things you see will change”. Have a great day!😊
