Gratefulness
I am grateful for so many things during this “re-set”; for my family and the opportunity to be near them, even tho a family health crisis brought me to them, I am thankful I can be here. For my beautiful daughter, an essential worker, who makes me proud everyday. For a roof over my head, food in the fridge, coffee, clean water. For my good health. For more time, for reading & exploring & expanding on my “spiritual journey”. For money in the bank, finally was able to collect un...

For more time, for reading & exploring & expanding on my “spiritual journey”. For money in the bank, finally was able to collect unemployment, for a lost job. For God’s Light, holding me up, surrounding me. I am truly blessed and so very grateful. Thanks to All here….🙏
By staying in the Present Moment & reminding myself to take it all in, this very present moment. 🙏
As I look out the patio door I see big, billowing, foreboding grey clouds moving across the sky, with a little bit of sun peeking out. On the terrace I see a potted cactus, a geranium and a big pumpkin. In the garden we have beautiful orange California poppies trying to survive this Midwest cold. Their blossoms barely open, it’s too cold! All the trees, are now bare of leaves. Just 2 weeks ago they were heavy with so much color & Joy! Now all that “ joyfulness” is on the ground. The...

The grass is still green, thank goodness. An occasional squirrel scurries by, 😊. This, my friends is the beginning of winter! This California girl is in for a SHOCK! Happy Saturday All…❤️🙏

I tend to my own path for me, no one else. If anyone finds inspiration or guidance from me, as they tend to their path, fine. I am doing this for me, so I can be the best version of me. By being the best version of me, I am a better person in the world, contributing brightly, lovingly, kindly, compassionately and respectfully. I try to “sow good seeds” daily and “stay in the light”. Blessings to All….❤️
I am grateful & thankful for how hard my body works and how much it accomplishes each day. I must get better at giving it the rest it needs & honor it by sleeping more. I am truly blessed. ❤️🙏
I would like to cultivate more time for meditation. And more time to sit with a good book & get lost in it.
The purpose of my day, today is to serve. To care for my 95 yr. old mother & to help my brother who has health issues. I will also remind myself to care for me too, remembering to breathe deeply & consciously.
Sight. I can see & enjoy the bright sunlight this beautiful morning. It is like a spotlight on the ever changing leaves on the trees before my eyes. Golden yellows, burnt reds, pinks & brown leaves are gently moving in the wind. Orange, red and purple flowers in the garden at my feet. So so much beauty to take in on this glorious morning. Thank you to the One who makes this all possible. 🙏
I need more, silence that is……
I feel a sense of belonging. It makes me feel like I want to help, to do, to be involved in some way, to contribute. Community adds a dimension, a complexity, a colorfulness to my life. Without community I feel my life would be very boring & lonely. Thanks to All here, who make me feel like I am part of this community. Blessings to All….✨🙏❤️
My mom……❤️
I had a fairly happy childhood. There were many gifts from growing up in a family of 5 kids. I learned the importance of exercise, to keep moving. I learned the importance of discipline, personal discipline. I love to read, swim, walk., explore. They taught me the importance of education, learning everyday. Conversing with others. My mom gave me an appreciation for flowers. She had the most beautiful flower garden. Wow so so many things come to mind. My dad also taught me “to make do.” Th...

My dad also taught me “to make do.” This lesson has come into play so many times in my adult life, it has taught me resilience, fortitude & laughter.
To be quiet. To reflect. To breathe and just be. 🙏
