Gratefulness
From the Lord. I am blessed. 🙏❤️
The beauty in my immediate surroundings is the quiet & calm all around me as I sip my “cup of joy”, my coffee. The sun is shining bright with nothing but blue sky everywhere. I can hear birds singing somewhere out there. All is well, this first day of April. I am blessed. 🙏
I am fortunate in so many ways. I woke up today to see the sun, feel the breeze. I have a roof over my head, toast on my plate and coffee in my hand. Plenty of food in the cupboard. I have my good health. I have Source by my side and many Angels. I am very blessed. 🙏❤️
My favorite relatives were my Grandma S., my mom’s mother. Maime was the kindest, sweetest, most gentle woman ever. On my dad’s side was my Aunt MaryRose, my dad’s sister. A very bright, caring woman. Thee best conversationalist ever. She always made me feel important because she always asked me questions about me. Now, my favorite relative is my 1st cousin Lisa. She truly is a saint. Always so kind, ready to help and always smiling. I am very blessed to have her in my life. 🙂<...

As many have already stated, Life. Life has been my greatest teacher. The ups & downs, the joys & sorrows, the happy & the sad, the fun times & the hard times, all have been great teachers. There are many wise ones I could name, however, I believe “my teachers” are everywhere, young, old, all colors, sizes & shapes. We are all teachers & students. Birds singing, chirping first thing in the morning as a new day begins. The wind rustling the aspen trees in Golden Gate Park. This is such a soft, beautiful, organic sound. Sooo pretty. My cat (who passed in Nov. ‘20), purring & snoring! Her snore sounded like a human! Rain on the window. Ocean surf. Jerry Garcia, Elvis Presley, Whitney Houston and many more….. Kids laughing, playing outside, screams of joy & fun. Babies laughing.

I/My family have been touched by the kindness of so many in the health care arena. My mother was recently hospitalized & is now in a rehab facility & will probably go to a nursing home. This whole process, where she/we are at today has been so hard & trying. I being the caregiver & POA have had to figure this all out quickly, with no experience & no one else to lean on. I have met so many kind, gentle, wonderful people along the way. I am also dealing with my brother’s l...
I/My family have been touched by the kindness of so many in the health care arena. My mother was recently hospitalized & is now in a rehab facility & will probably go to a nursing home. This whole process, where she/we are at today has been so hard & trying. I being the caregiver & POA have had to figure this all out quickly, with no experience & no one else to lean on. I have met so many kind, gentle, wonderful people along the way. I am also dealing with my brother’s life threatening illness. With him & his situation, we have met the kindest people in the health care arena as well. Everyone has been so compassionate, caring & supportive. I feel blessed that during this extremely difficult time people have been absolutely wonderful. The kindness of complete strangers has touched my heart. 🙏❤️
Mother Nature in all her glory. Spring flowers, changing leaves, green green hills, roses, dahlias, redwood trees, waterfalls, the ocean, birds joyfully singing, Golden Gate Park…..I could go on & on….. ❤️
Some days it is my “to do list” that keeps me from shining my light. On those days I have to remind myself to breathe & “stay in the light”. It is a challenge to stay in the present moment. ✨🌟✨
My family. My mom & my brother are both dealing with very serious health issues, at the same time. I am their one & only caregiver so I need to be “alive & energized” all the time. I have just had to hospitalize my mom, 95 yrs old, & then place her in rehab & then well not so sure what is next. My 63 yr old brother has cancer & is declining rapidly. I must be there for them both. At this point in time I really have no choice but to “stay strong” for them. And f...

Her presence in my very difficult & challenging life these days, is my blessing, my sunshine, my light, my love. ❤️🙏❤️
What could I do more of? More sleep, more meditation & quiet time, read more and eat more fruit.🍎 What could I do less of? Spend less time taking care of everyone else at my own expense. Less anxious thoughts. Less negativity. ❤️🙏❤️

Sunnypatti, I have always tried to have the mindset, while working, no matter how hard & difficult this may be, “I am thankful I have a job.” I work/worked in retail, non stop go go go. Many of my work mates barely did a thing, mgm. Included, I on the other hand know no other way, than to work hard. I was there to work and at the end of the day I had to answer to myself about my performance. Good luck to you, It is hard, all the juggling. Sounds like you have a good attitude & in ...
