Affirm my true self. Pause. Seek quiet inside and outside myself. Go barefoot to connect with the natural world and the earth that nurtures life. Find peace in a world that is not of my making, but which I can constantly recreate and love. Be grateful for every breathe I take.
Christian faith teaches me that everyone is born inherently good. My experience teaches me that human experience with power that controls and greed can kill that seed of goodness in each one of us. Believing in the absolute best about everyone, triggers that birthright of inherent goodness every creature possesses.
