Sharing a quote by Thomas Merton which I find I can relate to how I am touched in my encounters with both strangers and loved ones …
in Oneness … 🙏❤️
“ The whole idea of compassion is based on a keen awareness of the interdependence of all (these) living beings, which are all part of one another, and all involved in one another. “
– Thomas Merton
By connecting to the message, to the diversity of the sounds, to both the common and the unique rhythms of the melody in the heart, celebrating with gratitude, the goodness and Love in the Oneness. 💓💞
To face the uncertainty with hope and trust in the process of life. To have faith in the unknown.
Some of my heroes are the older people currently living in nursing homes. They inspire me with their resilience.
There are so many, including the community Volunteers who share their time and commitment to support and enrich the lives of others with their kindness.
If I could live ONE day over, it would be a day when my father was well and happy. I wish my dad didn’t suffer so much before he passed away. I wish I could live this one day over to tell him again how much he was loved.
I have expressed my love to my dearest ones, including to those that I am not able (distance) to do it in person.
We learn self- awareness from knowing others. I could be wrong about anybody at any given time, even more likely if I don’t know a person on a more deeper level. So I try my best to look for the good in others.
My heart finds meaning in moments of joy, peace, love and gratitude.
I draw strength when I connect to God’s loving presence in my own life, in others, in the beauty of creation.
Today I reminded myself to start the day by taking a deep breath and to simply take this day as it comes.
Happy 50th Anniversary Kevin! Congratulations to You and Betty Ann!! Enjoy this special day 💐
Good points JK. Thank you !

Sending Love your way Javier…
Yes, I think so. He most probably did! After all, even in our own brokenness (“ failings “) we learn about hope, faith, courage, strength and gratitude. We become more compassionate to continue our path with greater understanding towards Loving more fully. Blessings, dear Ose. ❤️
“So a good way to continue would be to ask myself “what would love do” ? and allow its guidance.”
This is really nice Ose! Thank You.
I have read a quote before with the word Christ (love) instead:
“what would Christ do” ?
Thank you for your reply Linda. Love always. 💕
Thank you for sharing this Hermann-Josef. So wonderful.
For me one of many possibilities, it is from the interconnectedness of people including those profound connections in my life which resulted from happenstance.
