My doubt teaches me to trust in hope. It forces me to make a different choice in my thinking which puts me on a better track. But this is a practice and it will take time to develop.
I come here tonight feeling burdened and heavy and in despair for mother earth and our country. Then I read the poetry in all you write and feel the love in all you say and know I have found a place to rest my head and feel at peace. This sacred place of gratitude is indeed a source of strength and renewal.
To change my way of thinking from negative to positive and understand that we cannot control the future, we can only live gratefully and mindfully in the present.
To reflect on the past and the future and honor those in my life as the season turns. To look inward with compassion and forgive and understand a better way to go forward with hope and gratitude and love.
I am new to this site and I love being with its presence. As I read through all these beautiful reflections, I am in awe of your kindness, spirituality and true gratitude. I want to know, “how do you maintain hope?” I search for hope, strength and courage every day and yet, it often feels so discouraging. I search deep in my soul by coming here and sensing all this goodness. But hope eludes me right now. Where may I find it?
Grateful to be here with all of you.

Thank you so much for your insights and suggestions. I have found that meditation has helped me be more present and of course music does calm my soul too. I wonder if you might suggest a good book that has helped you.
Blessings and peace..
