Gratefulness
One of my favorite times of day has to be this time right now. When I wake up earlier than needed to just have time to refresh and be present. This is the time I find myself journaling most. It’s such a great way to start off my day and it wires my brain to think positively. I love this practice and I think it’s highly beneficial.
I texted my grandma that I already miss her so much. I can tell by her response that my out-of-the-blue text meant so much to her and how she appreciated me texting her and thinking about her. It made my day, as well.
Honoring everyone’s opinions and safety. I know that if I am sick, I need to stay home just to make sure I do not infect anyone. Also, whether someone is vax or anti-vax, I want them to feel welcomed and not judge them for their own opinions.
This is a question I need to think about more. To start, I need and want to volunteer more. I am not giving back to the community as much as I should be. A lot of my love has either been given to my friends or family and I want to start giving it to those not in my community. Those who don’t have it as good as me. Also, below I saw a response of someone saying that you need to love yourself first in order to love others and I agree. Right now, I am able to focus on both myself and other...
Right now, I am able to focus on both myself and others because the love I have for myself is strong. So, I want to take this advantage and give more. I just don’t know what my thing is yet. A lot of people have found their organization that they love to volunteer and work for but I don’t know what mine is. I’m going to try to figure it out. Also, before Covid, I loved going to church. I haven’t been back since. I really miss it and I know that going to church made me happy and love others.
My best friend will say exactly what I need to hear whether I realize it or not. She knows me so well and can always read my mind & tell what I’m thinking. My grandmother gives me the right kind of help, too — she is my comfort blanket and is always there when I need it. Also, my dad is the most generous person I know and he always wants the best for me. He will do anything for me if it would make me happy, I just know it. All these people help me in different ways but that...

I am definitely an ambitious person. I’m always striving to be the best person that I’m capable of and I want the best for myself. One of my biggest dreams is to reach financial freedom and security. I didn’t have this growing up and I deserve to feel this type of security. Also, when I have kids, I don’t want them to have to go through what I went through. Although I’m still young, I already have a credit card and a savings account so I know I’m on the rig...

Although I’m still young, I already have a credit card and a savings account so I know I’m on the right track. Another long-awaited dream of mine is to live in New York City. And this absolutely will happen, I’ll make sure of it.
This is a really good question, I’ve never really thought about it before. I don’t feel like my parents have, honestly. Probably my grandma. She always wants me to be truthful and honest with everyone, no matter what it’s about. But I feel like I challenge myself the most to live my most authentic life. I always try to be me for me and if other people don’t like it then so what!
I never feel like “enough” comes from external things. For example, I never feel like I have enough clothes or enough money or enough outer beauty. But I do feel like I am loved enough. My family is the best I could ask for and whenever I’m around them I feel fulfilled. To know when enough is, you need to reflect on how fulfilled or satisfied you feel. I feel satisfied and like my needs/wants are met whenever I’m around the people that truly care for me.
I am grateful for all the voices strong enough to stand up for what’s right. The world wouldn’t be what it is today if we didn’t have these brave, courageous people. But in my everyday life, I’m most grateful for the voices of my loved ones. They are the most special people in my life and their voices give me such a sense of comfort. But in my everyday life, I’m most grateful for the voices of my loved ones. They are the most special people in my life and their voices give me such a sense of comfort. I’m thankful that I have a voice where I can talk to them and that I can hear them. I know that if the ability to hear was taken away from me, I would wish to hear my mom’s voice again. Or my dad’s. Or my grandma’s. Or my best friend’s. Or my sister’s. The list goes on and on.
Every part of my body. I am thankful for the fingers allowing me to type this and for the legs propping up my computer and keeping it steady. For my eyes that can see the screen and for my arms that support my hands. I’m thankful for the trees, especially during this time of year where the fall colors are rich and vibrant. I’m grateful for a place to live and a place I can call home. A place to keep me warm or cool and safe.
Well, considering the fact that food is one of my most cherished parts of life, I would want to honor it greatly. Before each bite, I need to be thankful for the wonderful food and nutrition that I am so blessed to enjoy. I need to thank my food. Also, by thanking my food, it will help heal my relationship with it.
I love this so much!
