Gratefulness
I love to take time to express my appreciation towards someone who is providing a really valuable essential service – a bus driver, a supermarket checkout assistant, the garbage collector… These folk are often ‘unseen’ and the moment of exchange can be really rewarding and joyful for us both.
A really good question can cast one into wonder – the questioner and the responder. The world gets bigger in that moment. I want to live in wonder…. May I remember to pause
This was a beautiful practice in letting go and allowing things to flow. My thoughts were questioning whether I was doing this ‘right’. When I just let the words flow – even if it didn’t look ‘right’ – I could feel that I had moved into a meditative space and what was going on inside was more important than what was outside – and that was beautiful too anyway. I returned to it again today. Thank you.
