I am a poet, a writer, editor, worker, friend, partner.
Just saying I am grateful, taking about it, and thnaking the people in my life for being there.
By choosing positivity and joy. By allowing myself playfulness, by my best petry, and offering my love and affection.
We bless you for laughter and the last breath, both divine.
The knowlege that it is a requirement to be an ethical human being….to be able to give love that way.
I feel alive in Chicago…there are friends there and elsewhere that make me feel alive, myself. But they are scattered and I do much alone.
To really be present in the moment and to stop living for that day when…..
It is teaching me beauty in imperfection, that all things change, and that beauty must also be what I carry in my heart.
I can look at “wanting” material things as NOT “needing” them. I can keep my peace of mind and sense of self intact without purchasing something.
BY speaking up and out about injustice, whether or not it “directly” affects me.
I seldom feel it is a blessing, but I have moments where I appreciate the weather, the blue skies….
I am tired of waiting for “that day when.”
Danny, Virginia, Ramone, John, Deirdra…selflessness, acceptance and humor, love for the flawed and imperfect, unflagging support.
For myself: balance, a sense of mission, acceptance of who I am, the value my life had and has. For the world: an end to profit, greed, injustice.
Can’t say specifically….but a day when I felt love all around me and in me.
A chance to heal myself and accept my self, seeing myself as I am.
Stop spending money on things to make myself feel better.
I would miss my fussing over dinner, but more importantly, I would iss my feistyness.
Not worry about pleasing others and give myself what I need to replenish my soul.
To buy things to make myself feel like I am enough.
The everyday treasures around me. The mountains in ABQ sometimes frighten me, make me feel isolated and alone….
