I feel at home in the desert. Funny I ended up in the rainy Pacific Northwest!
Be kind. Stay conscious. Act safely so we don’t put others at risk.
Children always inspire me. They are so open, and so in the present. I love watching small children take delight in everything–all is new and fun!
Kindness, always kindness.
I feel pulled in so many ways to help friends, family and others, to the point where I am almost immobilized with the enormity of it. It is important to stop, breathe and let the anxiety pass. Then I can move forward again.
I was having a bad day and reached out to my sister by phone. I was able to talk about everything I was feeling, and some that I wasn’t very proud of. She listened and did not react to the ugly parts of what I was feeling. She just let me talk, and the feelings all passed. I am forever grateful for having her as my sister.
I see our grandson becoming ever more successful in his chosen profession. We have nurtured him since he was a baby (his parents were largely absent) and he is fulfilling his dream of being a writer and actor. He is still young but already has had significant successes. And, he is a stellar human being, always looking out for the welfare of others.

I am thankful for all my friends. They are each talented and accomplished in their own ways. I have been friends with some of them for 30+ years! What a privilege and an honor to know them.

Love allows us to share the burdens–and joys–of being a human in this world.
Good health, so I can continue to do good in the world.
Pure gratitude for being alive.
As a fellow migraine sufferer, I can appreciate the value of help when you are feeling so bad.
Loved The Eagles!
