Beautiful! A chance to mediate on what life is all about.
The perfect essay for the perfect time of year!
What an interesting idea – each of us a transformer – creating, building, transforming nothing into something, every minute, every day. Loved this essay.
This essay resonated with me as I work through some of my own personal challenges these days. My favorite way to cultivate comfort is number 4 – “to imagine a thread connecting every human being” as it reminded me that we all have to opportunity to comfort one another, whether it is a friend, family member or stranger.
How wonderful to read how these medical professionals truly took care of your mother and you, showing genuine compassion and empathy, in such a time of need.
What a powerful way to consider this particular moment in which we live! I never really thought of me living “at the highest summit of evolution” or at the crossroads of the past and future, yet this simple truth will keep me thinking for days.
