how your life feels is more important than how it looks
my therapist is a very kind person. he’s very careful and attentive, and takes genuine interest in what i have to express. i can feel he doesn’t judge me no matter what i say. i’m learning to treat myself the way he treats me – with unconditional respect
i wanted to tell my friend how grateful i am for her presence in my life. sometimes i don’t feel well and i withdraw from talking to people. my friend doesn’t judge me for that, she just lets me know she will be there when i return. i should let her know how much i appreciate this
