Trying to remember to be grateful. Ugh..not doing so hot with it right now.
Pausing for stillness I am aware of how emotional I am feeling. I am a bundle of mixed up emotions. Dread, hopefulness, impatience, expectations for better things..grateful..sad… just so many feelings rolling around in me.
Growing in discipline, doing my yoga practice almost every day…and practicing self care in other ways as well. Forming new regular good habits.
Honestly, not much, in a bit of a funk. :/ Everyone I know is struggling, bad stuff is going down on a local, national and global level. All I want to do is eat junk food and cry. Sorry, just being honest.
My dog Semper. Oh and Hot water and air conditioning.
Purple blossoms on trees
How did it get the name Redbud?
Mixed in with Spring’s green, Divine!
Under Northern Lights
Feeling massive energy
we are so, so small
Grooming a dog daily
Not even my dog at all
she comes by to visit
her name is Semper Fidelis
Latin for Always Faithful
My neighbors matted up pooch
Ten minutes a day we meet
She gives up matted hair
And I give up my treats
here i am —
somewhere between ocean and moon
somewhere between lost and found — Zee Zahava
drawn to this haiku
something about the Earth elements
and feeling lost and found and lost again
In this haiku
once again I noticed
A shared feeling of Humanity
Reading this haiku
I experience again
Shared Human experience
alone in the waiting room
checking the plant
— Tom Clausen
drawn to this Haiku
Because I too
Have checked that plant
In this Haiku I notice
A shared human
Reading this Haiku I experience
Shared Humanity Needing Assurance
Of truth and reality.
