Gratefulness
Living gratefully has made me realize that I have all that I need and to be unafraid of not having enough or being without.
The ocean which is strong and powerful, yet calm and peaceful at times, always a source of wonder and amazement with its ever changing existence.
Letting go of the constant worry I feel for my children and grandchildren would free me to relax and enjoy them more. They are all going to be okay.
Everything….my inner strength and courage, wisdom, traditions, rituals, work ethic, ambition, passion and much, much more…..
This new season of my life has created the opportunity for me to put myself first and take care of “me” for a change…a new behavior with much-needed practice.
This new day with endless possibilities and opportunities.
Gratitude enables us to live a life of simplicity and ease, to appreciate what we have and to stop the need for more.
My amazing grandchildren!!
The simple kindness and compassion, support and wisdom received from strangers during this difficult time in our lives have proven to be gifts from heaven for my family.
I would send a cheery note to a dear friend in a nursing home, reminding her that I think of her often and cherish our memories.
I am rich in my multitude of blessings which allows me to live simple and easy with gratefulness.
My new role as a caregiver has opened my world to many new and challenging experiences…..all pushing me out of my comfort zone and showing me my true inner strength and courage, wisdom and knowledge.
By sharing all that I am and all that I have, gracefully.
Mental health, both n challenging times and during peaceful seasons.
Walk beside them and be their friend.
By living in the present and holding it close to my heart always.
Gratefulness enables me to let go of the past and to heal in the present
Patience is a virtue.
A wonderful phone call from my grandchildren….pure joy!
Free my heart from hatred. Free my mind from worries. Live simply. Give more. Expect less and enjoy every moment.
