Gratefulness
The giving and taking, the leaving and coming…such wonderful rhythms of life. This week of blessings has been wonderful. Just being reminded to breathe was so helpful. Thank you.
Ahhh, how wonderful to be reminded of the sacredness of the ordinary!
How privileged I would feel to know my hands had somehow contributed to the healing of others. Indeed, it might be physical touch or the act of using my hands to prepare food for someone or write them a note of encouragement. May I never take for granted my ability to heal.
I confess that I dream rarely — awake or asleep. But this meditation inspires me to pay more attention.
Thank you for offering the opportunity to stop, reflect, and be grateful.
Elaine, I am moved deeply by your beautiful article and the sharing of your waiting journey. You are so right that we should honor and respect waiting, even when it’s hard. I love your example of the chrysalis. Nature has so much to teach us about waiting, faith, and hope.
