i live in a cabin and on frosty mornings watching the steam rise from my coffee, holding the warm mug in my hands with my cat on my lap looking out of the window as dawn gently breaks all my senses are alive and even the chill is a precious gift.
The sense that i have come too far to give up .. and even if my next step isn’t in the direction i had hoped for at least i am still on the journey
I can gently and quietly bury the little wren i found dead in my garden this morning and honour its beauty and its life.
Sitting at the waters edge on my first visit to the Isle of Skye looking across at the mountains and knowing in my soul that i was home – that i belonged -i was nothing and yet everything – there was no separateness and when a seagull cried overhead it was the eternal cry of every heart. One of the best moments of my life.
Liveliness is the energy that embraces the opportunities of life with passion and enthusiasm …. aliveness is a deep awareness of the wonder and miracle of life in every breath and in the minutae of every moment
