Tomorrow. Future that is not here. All I can handle is now, the present, the eternal now. I hope it will show an ever evolving, loving human.
I don’t think of people in terms of hero stature. Having said that, there are some I quietly admire. Peace Pilgrim is one; an ordinary woman who took an ordinary act (walking) and made it an extraordinary art form of life.
To have a lttle cottage and a large dog in a picturesque landscape.
It is not new, except that everyday is new; but I would say beginning again.
Caring for others is a strong reminder for me that we are not alone.
I am reminded of Jesus saying “to let your light shine……..” NOT “shine your light……” . One is a natural occurance in many ways as it is a result of a behavior. The other is a deliberate action.
I do not know what the next person I encounter needs to learn nor that I am the one to teach them. All I know to do is remember that person carries within them the Image of God.
After experiencing being pummeled by ocean waves, and carried away by a rip tide, I would say the ocean. Yet some of the most profound meditative times have been when I was upheld by the ocean’s water as I bobbed in the sun. Vast, deep, ever moving, mysterious. I feel humbled and am reminded of its strength and power.
Such a practical reflection!!
What a wonderful tribute! How fortunate that a mother and daughters could share not only life but leave taking. I had seen the animation before and appreciate seeing it again. My sorrow is that my beloved daughter is estranged from me because I do not fit into her religious beliefs so we no longer joyfully share life together and when the time comes to face death we will not participate together.
I am 60 years of age and can wholeheartedly affirm what Mr. Miglani writes has been my personal experience of life. So, if you are younger and struggling mightily, read this article daily and stay your course!
Pilgrim, I do the same thing (write in the morning what I did the day before)! I use an engagement calender I buy from Amber Lotus Publishing because they are so beautiful.
Well said, Kevin! Your answer reflects my thinking accurately.
Thank you, Palm, for remembering me. I am upheld by your kindness. 🌻
☺️🌻🎶let it shine all the time!🎶
Thank you, Cora.
Thank you for your kind reply, Tesa. I know our story is not over and who knows what the future will bring? It is difficult for me not to think “what a waste!” We could be enjoying so much together, I could get to know my grandchildren and they me.
Best of success as you continue to create your life thru all you are doing! Cheers!
