I think for me it is because I cannot run away from it. If a dark period comes my way, I first try to make sure I’m seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. After I make my way through it, I try to reflect on what I have learned to help minimize the dark periods and improve the way I go through the next one. There is no light without Darkness.
