Gratefulness
Although my world can turn upside down in a moment, or my movement may be restricted, I see myself as the picture above the word for the day, as that young girl jumping up and kicking her heals.
Mother said it is the same for you when you’re an aging senior as when you are young, Joy never really leaves you. So grateful she was spot on with that.
I have always been amazed by the kindness of strangers.
To pay that forward, the message of love and hope, little here, a little there and always back at you my friends.
It is like that saying, when you knew better, you did better.
“What you focus on grows……. when you are faced with a negative condition, withdraw your attention from it by building the opposite”….. Emmet
She found the song in her heart and began to sing along.
I have a heart as wild as the wind, joyfulness is never far away, play with abandon!
More a reminder, Love will find an answer, let it be. Beatles tune
Several movies I enjoyed so much that I have watched several times.
The Shawshank Redemption: best line for me, “he had a quiet way about him, something inside nobody can touch “hope”. Favorite line, ‘Remember that Red, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of good things and no good thing ever dies.

“Pride and Prejudice 1995 version: title depicts what each lead character needs to work on. My favorite line, “I could easily forgive his pride, if he had not mortified mine.” The dialogue throughout movie is poetic and delicious.
Seabisquit: true story, the message of courage and wonder, to never give up on your dreams, no matter the barriers in the way. My favorite line said, once for the horse and once for the partially blind jockey. “You don’t throw a whole life away cause your banged up a little.”
Anne of Green Gables: true story of young orphan girl with ADHD, message, don’t be afraid to stand up for yourself. My favorite line “ Dear Old World, you are lovely and I am glad to be alive in you.”
Thanks for the question and the reminder of what I needed
in all the zillion different variations, it’s love
I see you and I love you
Listening to the daily meditation on this site titled Gratitude and Self-Love.
In this moment I have compassion and for that, I am grateful
We live in the moment and we will die in the moment.

the air is brisk and chilly, I sit in the warmth of my heart, slowly enveloped with the light of dawn, the pulse of mother earth as she stirs, a slow smile appears

Sometimes doubt in one area brings enlightenment in another, presenting options and solution from something otherwise perplexing.

this was my great great grandmother’s name, it is in the blood
Howie, I appreciate hearing someone else say this. How often my heart desires have mislead me, and still do at times. But my heart of heart always brings me back home, let the fairy tale be a fairy tale.
Accepting what was, what is and what will be.
Dragonfly, I so appreciated your share, I felt my heart open up, wild and free as the wind.
You do not have to be good
You do not have to walk on your knees for a hundred miles through the desert, repenting.
Meanwhile the wild geese, high in the clean blue air, are heading home again.
Whoever you are, no matter how lonely the world offers itself to imagination, calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting – over and over announcing your place
