Daily Journey by Grace to grow in Gratitude & pass it on
My ever deepening & unfolding relationship with a God of my understanding. Health; my relationships with my biological family; planet Earth & the many spiritual nomadic pilgrims I cross paths with daily.
Great question! I can Indirectly feel the rise of my diaphragm by the inflation sensation of my tummy & expanding lungs. There is a calm. All is well.
By continuing to trust & grow in the ability to say I AM in the right place at the right time. Emphasis is on the “am”, whether it’s my location in a driving intersection or who surrounds me in the grocery store. Letting go of my need to control my external locations & actions has allowed me to “be” more in the moments of life.
Each new day, whether it’s cloudy or blazing with sunshine and nighttime, whether it’s star filled skies or not.
Planet Earth-living in a northern US state of Minnesota I (still) see heavy snows that blanket the ground for months. We’re already experiencing some warm days & snow’s beginning to melt. I see patches of grass being exposed & tendrils of their shoots are unfurling to “live” & become green again. (If the question was “who” teaches me, I’d name some friends who’re refugees)
By remembering “First Things First.” A smile & having time for morning prayer & reflection (& throughout my day) to be open to whatever God may direct me to embrace. If there’s an “adventure” that I’m not too keen about/hesitant, I can pray for willingness. Experience has taught me, Grace provides it.
This happens now and then; when I find a dark wet wool cloak of a seasonal depression has overshadowed my being, and I know it is time. Time to check in with my homeopath and a few trusted others. Time to listen more earnestly to God in nature and in others. Energy returns & the “seeker” is back on track and the soaked cloak of inertia has been cast off.
I’ve grown in detaching from the worldly turmoil as I can’t change it on my own. Embracing joyful moments as they are given or appear on my path nurtures my spirit. This can lead to deep laughter as well as tears from joy. I am then able to connect with others, like those of you on this Gratitude path to help detoxify the turmoil around us in the planet.
