Gratefulness
Waiting. Lots of waiting. It brings regrets and self-despair while honoring aliveness. The train left the station long ago when I struggled to survive. Now the witness to it all. Peace.
While healing from an elbow fracture and surgery, not only do I reflect on the wonder of healing, but also on the many people who have and still are assisting me to be well again. I am grateful for family, friends, and caring medical professionals.
Family relationships can be very difficult. I’m sorry to hear about your situation. Take good care of yourself.
