Focusing on words
brings me to my inner self
I am truly present here
Planting seeds in soil
Tiny shoots unfurl and grow
Life appears to us each day
Inhale, wave pulls back
Exhale, soft crashing on sand
My breath times itself
Watching bubbles fly
Waving the wand to create more
Laughing inner child
Kites flutter above
Sun, breeze, and music playing
Soaking in the peace
Neck craning, eyes straining up
Light trail takes my breath
Rich scent of wet earth
Moisture soaking into roots
Glorious Spring arrives

A world where we live in accordance with the truth of our interdependence would allow us all to be partners in our world. We would never view others as outsiders, foreigners, or immigrants. We would share our cultures and outlooks with respect and dignity. We would never allow our fellow men and women to be abused or harmed .
I am willing to let go of people’s opinions of me. I spend too much time worrying about things that are not in my control. I let it go…
The birth of my grandson, first and only so far. He was and is so beautiful and funny.
